Who The Venetian’s pools suit

Why spend the day here

You want a pool day without leaving the building, a quieter pool for an evening swim, and a dayclub on the same floor when you feel like one.

Seating and prices

When to look elsewhere

You are not staying at the resort or want quiet at 9am: the decks are for guests, and the music starts early.

Other pools

5 acres on the roof

The pools are on rooftops: one deck runs the length of both towers, and the dayclub covers the roof of TAO’s nightclub.

In April 2021 the resort unveiled a 2-year redesign of a 5-acre rooftop deck that runs the length of the Venetian and the Palazzo, with 11 pools and 8 spas (KTNV). The Venetian side took its cue from the Italian Riviera: 4 large pools, 3 of them infinity pools, loungers set in the water, a splash pad for children and a quieter spa pool.

The Palazzo deck kept 7 pools, and the resort counted 55 cabanas across both, from 180 to 1,450 square feet (KTNV). The Pool Garden, in the tower the press release called Venezia and the resort now calls the South Tower, was the third, smaller setting, partly shaded through the day.

TAO Beach opened in 2007 on the roof of TAO’s nightclub (Wikipedia). The 2 sources disagree on its size: Wikipedia gives 5 acres, the resort’s own page 47,000 square feet, a little over 1 acre (TAO Beach).

Condé Nast Traveller’s reviewer described 3 moods: a lively Venetian deck where TAO Beach’s music carries, a calmer Palazzo with more space between loungers, and a garden pool that guests seek out on purpose (Condé Nast Traveller).

On the decks the music is loud from the morning on, and on busy days the free loungers are taken by 10am.
