  1. Read the season

    Winter keeps the spa, gym, children’s club, heated pools and selected restaurants. Other facilities are seasonal; for a holiday built around the aquapark, I’d choose the summer programme.

  2. Choose the right club

    Kikoa separates activities for children up to 7, Junior Club for ages 8 to 12 and teenagers aged 13 to 17. Ages 3 and under need a parent; there is no babysitting service.

  3. A place in the sun

    Beach and pool cabanas need a reservation and cost extra. If that quieter spot matters to you, add it to the budget before choosing the room rate.

What Titanic Deluxe Lara is

Titanic Deluxe Lara faces a 350-metre sandy beach. The main building resembles a ship; the annexes bring the stay into the gardens and around the pools, with some rooms offering water access from the balcony.

Parkfora and Stella Beach Snack are included in the all-inclusive plan. À la carte dinner needs a reservation and a supplement: grilled meat, Italian, Greek and Japanese restaurants add a separate line to the bill.

BeFine Spa has a Turkish bath, sauna, steam room and face and body treatments. There’s a fitness centre for a workout, plus separate indoor pools for adults and children.
