Cloud 22 Dubai is the 90-metre infinity pool on the 22nd floor of Atlantis The Royal, on Palm Jumeirah, closed since late February 2026 for a makeover. On 4 October 2026 its official page read “Venue is currently closed” and nobody had a reopening date; on SevenRooms its loungers are still on sale from AED 495.

Cloud 22 opened with the hotel in 2023 and became its most photographed image, until it closed in February 2026 for a new look.
The infinity pool on Atlantis The Royal’s 22nd floor is 90 metres long: 60 loungers, 15 floating beds and 11 cabanas, including a 2-storey VVIP one with air conditioning and its own pool, according to Time Out Dubai, which named it the city’s best pool club 2 years running.
It has changed its look several times: the latest, with Dolce&Gabbana and Ounass, carried the colours of the Carretto pattern, as the official page still describes. Since late February 2026 it has been closed for a full makeover, and BeachClubDXB notes it will return “for the new season”, with no date.
It is not only for hotel guests: anyone aged 21 or over can book its packages on SevenRooms. Hotel guests, for their part, have the Nobu by the Beach pool included, the adults-only beach club at sand level, open 9am to sunset (pool page).
In the hotel’s Google reviews, Cloud 22 comes up in 23 reviews since August 2025: those who saw it speak of the best view in Dubai, one guest quotes AED 4,500 for a bed with Champagne, and since April 2026 several guests write that they found it closed.
A day at Cloud 22, as SevenRooms sold it

- Opening
By the hotel’s FAQ Cloud 22 opens 10am to 7pm; SevenRooms gives 10am to 8pm. Only guests aged 21 and over are admitted, the hotel says.
- The morning lounger
The Morning Experience, a lounger for the morning, is AED 335 on weekdays and AED 400 at weekends; a lounger for the whole day AED 495 and AED 695 (SevenRooms).
- The floating beds
The floating beds on the infinity pool can be booked until 1pm, then go to walk-ins: AED 3,500 on weekdays, AED 4,500 at weekends; those on the Lotus pool AED 1,750 and AED 2,250 (SevenRooms).
- The cabanas
Cabanas run from AED 3,500, the Cloud and Gulf View, to AED 8,500 for the East Palm View on weekdays and AED 11,000 at weekends; the 2-storey Duplex Pool Villa, air-conditioned with its own pool, is AED 8,000 and AED 10,000 (SevenRooms, Time Out Dubai).
- Sunset
The Sunset Experience, a lounger from mid-afternoon to closing, is AED 400 on weekdays and AED 585 at weekends; the pool closes half an hour before the venue (SevenRooms).
- The bar
The Bar & Lounge, with cocktails and the view over the Palm, started at AED 300 a head (SevenRooms).

A pool of your own while Cloud 22 is closed
Guests at Atlantis The Royal have Nobu’s pool included; with a Sky Pool Villa they have a private one.
The Sky Pool Villa, 118 to 168 m², has a private infinity pool facing the sea or the Palm, and 44 suites and penthouses have pools, the hotel says. Every room includes the Nobu by the Beach pool, from age 21, with a lounger. On Google Hotels, read on 4 October 2026 for 2 adults, the cheapest night was AED 3,232 on 22 November 2026 and AED 7,596 on 11 January 2027.

For guests at Atlantis The Royal the simplest answer is in the same resort: the Nobu by the Beach pool is included with the room, from age 21, and the Royal Pool is open to all guests from 9am to sunset.
For a pool up high, AURA Skypool on the 50th floor of The Palm Tower reopened on 1 September 2026 after its summer renovation. 2 errors to avoid: the hotel’s FAQ still gives Cloud 22 as open 10am to 7pm, and SevenRooms is still selling packages for a closed venue.

Of Atlantis The Royal’s Google reviews read on 4 October 2026, 23 since August 2025 mention Cloud 22. In January 2026 one guest called it the place with the best view in Dubai; in February another was quoted AED 4,500 for a bed with Champagne; in April and May 2026, 2 guests wrote that they had found it closed.
