  1. The bus at the door

    From Thun, I would take bus 21, which stops outside the hotel. The digital PanoramaCard is already valid for the arrival journey between Thun, Merligen and Interlaken Ost.

  2. Cooling and parquet

    Air conditioning in Spiez and Niederhorn is on request. In Spiez, parquet also needs to be requested; I would choose it with the room, without taking it for granted.

  3. Bringing your dog

    A dog adds CHF 35 a day. Food is excluded from the supplement.

  4. Before and after the room

    The room is available from 4pm and must be vacated by 11am. Wellness is available before entering the room and throughout departure day.

BEATUS is a 5-star hotel in Merligen, on the shore of Lake Thun.1 Its private lake frontage stretches for 277 metres.1

What does one night cost?

What is the indoor pool like?

The indoor pool measures 16 × 8 m; the water is at 29°C.1

Can I use the baths without staying?

Pool entry for 2 hours costs CHF 40 from October to March and CHF 30 from April to September. With Sauna Classic, for 3 hours, the prices are CHF 55 and CHF 45 respectively. Day visitors enter 8am–9.30pm; on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, limited 8am–6pm slots can be booked online, with walk-in access after 6pm.12

What does a massage cost?

A classic massage costs CHF 85 for 25 minutes or CHF 120 for 50 minutes. Cancelling with less than 24 hours’ notice incurs the full treatment price; arriving late shortens the treatment.12

How does parking work?

Parking, partly covered, is free for direct bookings. Electric-car charging costs extra.12

What are the cancellation terms?

A deposit is due when booking. Unless otherwise agreed, cancellation is free until 31 days before arrival; from 30 to 8 days, the charge is at most 3 nights with the booked arrangement; from 7 days, 100% if the room cannot be resold. Cancellations must be in writing.12
