New hotels in the Maldives: announced openings in 2026 and 2027

Next up is the Vaagali Maldives, which opens in late 2026. Bvlgari is coming to Raa, Rosewood to South Malé and Hyatt to North Malé. If your holiday comes sooner, the open hotels are further down.

Which island to wait for

Rosewood’s announced transfer is 35 minutes by yacht or 10 by seaplane.⁴ Mondrian sits in the atolls further from the airport: it announces a 45-minute seaplane flight to Noonu.⁵

Ranfushi is planned with Il Ristorante by Niko Romito, Bao Li Xuan, Hōseki and La Spiaggia: four dining concepts that Bvlgari is bringing to the island.²
