The scores come from 126 Google reviews with text, left from 2 May 2018 to 29 September 2026. The other hotels are the ones weighed for a stay in the Maldives: for each we read its latest 500 Google reviews with text, or all of them where there are fewer, as of 5 October 2026. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well. Where only a few mention something, the score stays close to the guide’s average: a handful of voices does not make a reputation.

Scores read between 3 and 5 October 2026
From the resort’s Google listing, March to September 2026: a first trip, a family, the flight, a fourth visit and a dietary request.
A family in September 2026 describe their Jadugar, the kids’ club with its slides, someone to pack and unpack for you and, as a parting gift, an inkwell with a fountain pen.
A family with a small child, in September 2026, rank the club among the highlights; at these prices they expected more of the Malé lounge, some cleaning details and certain extras. They would return, if the price is right. 4 stars.
A guest in June 2026 praises every restaurant, the Japanese above all, but finds $2,800 for 2 for a 45-minute shared seaplane with a stop illogical, and notes the bathroom has no doors.
A couple in March 2026, on their fourth visit, write that in the Maldives they will stay only at JOALI and JOALI BEING, thanks to their Jadugar and the barman.
A guest in April 2026 asks for dishes without fat and is served them with oil and butter several times, then a waiter argues with her. One star.
