Cheval Blanc Randheli, in the Maldives’ Noonu Atoll: 46 villas, each with a 12.5-metre pool, and a Guerlain spa on its own island.
A week here, month by monthRandheli suits couples and families who put personal service and French cooking first, with the lowest seller on Google showing one night for 2 adults from $3,432. For a holiday spent exploring towns and local restaurants, I would choose a mainland base.
Official siteDoes it suit you?
5 pairs of hotels, and the guide tells you whether this one suits you.
For 2, I would ask for the Water Villa: 220 m² facing the ocean, with an overwater dining deck and outdoor lounge. Its double dressing room gives each of you room to unpack.
The calendar read on 12 October 2026 puts 17–23 August 2027 at $3,432–$3,758 per night for 2 adults. The dearest nights it shows are 5–6 March 2027, at $14,696 each.
Travelling with children, allow $220 per child per night for a requested extra bed for ages 4–12. For guests aged 13 and over, the extra bed is quoted at $400 per person per night.
Le Paddock stays open from 9am to 10pm: teenagers can move between drawing walls, virtual-reality headsets and creative or sporting spaces. It gives them somewhere of their own beyond the villa and the water.
Cheval Blanc Randheli opened in November 2013, the second maison of LVMH Hotel Management (press kit), across several islands of Noonu Atoll: 5 on one page of the site, 6 on another. There are 46 villas, the Private Island included (official fact sheet); the resort reopened on 1 July 2025 after a renovation (A&E World) and closes every June for upkeep, from 1 to 30 June 2026 according to Virtuoso.
Every villa has a 12.5-metre pool. Over the water stand the 4 Water Villas facing the ocean, the 10 Lagoon Villas on the inner lagoon, the Garden Water Villas and the Horizon Villa, the only one at the end of the jetty, all of 220 m²; on the beach, the Island Villas, 240 m² with one bedroom and 315 with 2, the ones the resort recommends to families with young children (villa sheets). The Private Island is a one-hectare islet with a 4-bedroom house and a 25-metre pool (Private Island).
There are 5 restaurants, from The White, with an à la carte breakfast and a small buffet from 7am to 11am (The White), to Le 1947, 11 French courses with an Island Chic dress code (restaurant page). The spa is on its own island: Guerlain rituals, the only ones in the Maldives, 6 treatment villas and a one-hour massage at $240 plus 10% (spa).
The lagoon is shallow and calm, protected by a sea wall; snorkellers head for the spa island’s reef (The Luxury Travel Expert). Reviews praise the staff above all, with the majordomes remembered by name. It holds 3 MICHELIN Keys and Forbes 5 stars for 2025.

The scores come from 106 Google reviews with text, left from 15 May 2014 to 12 September 2026. The other hotels are the ones weighed for a stay in the Maldives: for each we read its latest 500 Google reviews with text, or all of them where there are fewer, as of 4 October 2026. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well. Where only a few mention something, the score stays close to the guide’s average: a handful of voices does not make a reputation.
