Choose the palace alongside the room

The Presidential Suite at Palazzo del Nero is in the palace affected by the works. If that was the accommodation you had chosen, ask for a different proposal in the Gherardesca, naming both the room category and its palace in the quote.⁴¹⁵

The rest of the stay continues. The Gherardesca Garden, spa and swimming pool remain outside the closure and follow their normal operation. If time in the water is the reason for your visit, ask which facilities and hours apply to your dates before choosing the stay.²

For a visit after the works, have the first available date at Palazzo del Nero and its operating restaurants confirmed. If you prefer the Garden Suite, ask specifically about that accommodation and its access during the enhancement programme.³

Dates for your diary

Before booking

Name the palace in your reservation

Ask for accommodation in the Gherardesca, or a specific availability confirmation for the Garden Suite.¹⁵

Through 31 March 2027

Palazzo del Nero remains unavailable

The enhancement works closure also includes Onde and Bar Berni.¹³

For nights after that

Confirm the return before committing

Ask for the palace’s first bookable night and the facilities included with your stay.³

What I would ask before booking

Ask before booking · 1	Have the palace and exact room category written into your reservation.¹⁵
Ask before booking · 2	For the Garden Suite, ask whether it is available on your dates and how access will work during the renovation.
Ask before booking · 3	For a visit after March, confirm the availability of Palazzo del Nero and its restaurants before paying.³

Before you go

Is the whole Four Seasons Firenze closed?

No. The works closure concerns Palazzo del Nero, Onde and Bar Berni. The garden, spa, swimming pool and other spaces follow their normal operation.¹⁵

Can I book a Palazzo del Nero suite during the works?

The palace is unavailable through 31 March 2027 inclusive. Ask for accommodation in the Gherardesca, or a separate confirmation for the Garden Suite.²⁵

Does the works deadline guarantee a stay in the palace?

Have the first available night and operating facilities confirmed. The stated closure runs through 31 March; that does not confirm a stay for the following night.³
