The Peninsula Hong Kong combines rooms from 41 m² and an indoor harbour-view pool with life in Tsim Sha Tsui. Choose a Harbour View category for Hong Kong Island outside the window; the lobby, shared with afternoon-tea visitors, remains a busy gathering place.
A week here, month by monthThe Peninsula suits a stay built around its 1928 building, tea in the Lobby and the Star Ferry a short walk away; one night starts at HKD 5,271 in January 2027, the lowest seller on Google. For Central’s offices on foot, a hotel across the harbour saves the crossing.

I would ask for a Grand Deluxe Harbour View Room: 42 m² on floors 17 to 27 of the Peninsula Tower, with the full harbour and Hong Kong Island’s skyline in the windows; a connecting room can be requested.
In the calendar read on 14 October 2026, every night from 19 to 31 January 2027 costs HKD 5,282 for 2 adults. New Year’s Eve is the dearest night it shows, at HKD 18,603.
Go up to Felix for a drink after dinner: 6 guests write of the view from the bar at the top of the hotel, and one places it on the 28th floor, facing Hong Kong Island.
A Peninsula room can face Kowloon streets, the forecourt or Victoria Harbour. The distinction is in the name: Harbour View is the choice for the Hong Kong Island skyline. The Grand Deluxe Harbour View measures 42 m²; suites with this outlook start at 82 m².
The pool floor offers a pause from the street: heated water, harbour-facing windows and poolside breakfast. One floor below, the spa and fitness centre have separate programmes, with the gym open around the clock.
The lobby is also a destination for tea. That is part of the pleasure of staying here, but it brings visitors into the public spaces. For more intimate dinners there are Spring Moon, Gaddi’s and Chesa, each with its own cooking and setting.

The scores come from 500 Google reviews with text, left from 21 July 2024 to 14 October 2026. The other hotels are the ones weighed for a stay in Hong Kong: for each we read its latest 500 Google reviews with text, or all of them where there are fewer, as of 15 October 2026. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well. Where only a few mention something, the score stays close to the guide’s average: a handful of voices does not make a reputation.
