For a city break spent between the malls, the temples and the bars, Rosewood Bangkok starts at THB 10,960 for one night, 2 adults, in March 2027: the lowest seller’s single-night price on Google, service charge and VAT included. For the river or a garden pool, choose a hotel on the Chao Phraya.

Like a regular

The bar at Lennon’s on the 30th floor, under the slanting glass, with the city lit up outside
  1. The corner room to ask for

I would ask for a Premier Room: one of the corner rooms, 50 m² with views of the Bangkok skyline, contemporary Thai art and books, and a bath apart from the rain shower.

  2. The week that costs less

From 26 November to 2 December 2026 single nights ranged from THB 13,042 to THB 13,442 for 2 adults on Google, read on 16 October 2026. The dearest night shown, 31 December 2026, was THB 41,386.

  3. Charges, pets and extra guests

The hotel’s rates are subject to 7% VAT and a 10% service charge. One pet up to 10 kg costs THB 2,500 plus those charges, for up to 7 nights; anyone 13 or over pays THB 2,000 a night, extra bed included.

  4. Lennon’s, night by night

The bar on the 30th floor, open from 5pm, gives each night its music: oldies on Thursday, jazz on Friday, pop on Saturday, and guitar and saxophone sessions on Sunday.

What Rosewood Bangkok is

The tower opened on 31 March 2019 and rises 30 storeys; by the hotel’s fact sheet its angular silhouette is drawn from the wai, the joined hands of the Thai greeting. Inside, every floor has its use: the Pavilion on the 5th, the spa on the 6th, Lakorn on the 7th, the pool, the gym and G&O on the 9th, Nan Bei on the 19th and Lennon’s on the 30th.

The 16 categories run from the 42 m² Deluxe to the 3 houses with plunge pools on their terraces; Bannakarn House, 291 m², takes the whole 29th floor. Guests praise the design, the beds and the view; some write of the noise from the road, on high floors too. MICHELIN gives the hotel 2 Keys and Forbes Travel Guide 4 stars for 2026.

The evenings are its strongest suit: Lennon’s, a speakeasy with over 6,000 records, is No. 7 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026, and Nan Bei on the 19th floor cooks from Canton, Sichuan and Hunan. The pool is a 20-metre lane between glass and planting, made for lengths.

In the Lumina Guide

Lumina Guide 2027

Rosewood Bangkok, on Ploenchit Road in Lumphini, is a 30-storey tower whose form is drawn from the wai, the Thai greeting, with 158 rooms and a bridge straight to the skytrain.

How we choose the hotels

Those who come back

Among Rosewood Bangkok’s regulars, 3 praise breakfast, and 2 were recognised at the door when they came back. A guest writing in August 2025, who tries a different room on each return, advises the skytrain or walking over the jammed roads; a guest on a second stay, writing in November 2025, advises making the most of the 9th-floor pool.

  2. Character

A 30-storey tower of 2019 drawn from the wai, with 158 rooms

  3. Rooms

16 categories, from the 42 m² Deluxe to Bannakarn House, 291 m² across the 29th floor

  4. Food and social life

    Lakorn, Nan Bei, G&O and Lennon’s, No. 7 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026

  5. Wellness

Sense spa on the 6th floor, a 20-metre saltwater pool and a 24-hour gym on the 9th

  6. The stay as a whole

On Google Hotels, read on 16 October 2026: THB 18,173 on 17 November 2026, and from THB 10,960 for 3 nights in a row, 5 to 7 March 2027

The 5 things that matter, as guests tell them

What do Rosewood Bangkok’s guests say? They write it in their reviews, even those who only came for a drink or dinner: we read every one and tell the 5 things that matter, from the location to the bill.

  1. Location

9 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. A covered bridge runs from Ploenchit BTS station to the hotel and on to malls such as Central Embassy; guests who arrive by car or taxi describe the traffic on Ploenchit Road, and some hear the street from their room, high floors included.

  2. Room

8 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. Guests write of comfortable beds, the light through the tall windows and the view of the towers; the less happy had a Deluxe hard against the building next door, or a room within earshot of the road.

  3. Staff and service

8 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. Doormen and staff who greet guests by name recur, with the massages at the 6th-floor spa and the bartenders at Lennon’s; the pool is liked, though more than one guest finds it compact and short of loungers, and the gym small.

  4. Breakfast

8 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. Breakfast at Lakorn pairs a buffet with dishes from the menu brought to the table, in a room guests find beautiful; the less happy find the dishes bland or the service muddled.

  5. Price

5 in 10 guests who mention the price find it fair. Those who write well of it find the price in line with the quality; those who do not find it high for what they get, and more than one describes an extra deposit asked for at check-in.

The scores come from 500 Google reviews with text, left from 6 June 2021 to 12 October 2026. The other hotels are the ones weighed for a stay in Bangkok: for each we read its latest 500 Google reviews with text, or all of them where there are fewer, as of 16 October 2026. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well. Where only a few mention something, the score stays close to the guide’s average: a handful of voices does not make a reputation.

The hotels we weigh it against in Bangkok:

  • The Okura Prestige Bangkok
  • Aman Nai Lert Bangkok
  • Waldorf Astoria Bangkok
