    For a proper swim there’s a 35-metre lap pool. I’d start there in the morning, then decide how much Bangkok to fit into the day.

  2. For younger children

    Children aged 4 and under eat free from the children’s menu, excluding room service and poolside orders. Ages 5 to 11 receive half-price breakfast at Riva del Fiume.

  3. Between flights

    Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by noon. For a guaranteed room after a dawn arrival, book the previous night too; otherwise, luggage storage and the fitness facilities give you somewhere to freshen up.

What Four Seasons Bangkok is

Four Seasons sits on Charoen Krung in Bangkok’s creative district. Floor-to-ceiling windows face the water or the internal gardens: choose a river category if that is the view you want, as a Deluxe can overlook a courtyard.

Riva del Fiume serves Italian cooking, while Brasserie Palmier sits beside the river. Chao Phraya Terrace works with Thai ingredients and a charcoal grill. Dinner can change without changing your address.
