Hong Kong harbour at night from The Ritz-Carlton Suite
  1. The room to ask for

I would ask for a Deluxe Victoria Harbour View room: 50 m² facing Hong Kong Island across the water. A guest on a second stay, writing in March 2025, was struck again by the harbour-view room.

  2. The weeks before Christmas

In the calendar read on 14 October 2026, the nights from 5 to 23 December 2026 cost HKD 3,853 to HKD 3,963 for 2 adults. New Year’s Eve is the dearest night it shows, at HKD 8,461.

  3. Club extras

Club rates cover 2 people: a third adult pays HKD 2,004 net a night and a child aged 6–12 HKD 330. Friends you invite to the Club Lounge pay HKD 528 net each for refreshments.

  4. By Airport Express

Come from the airport by Airport Express: 4 guests write that it stops right below the hotel, and one, in September 2023, gives the way up through Elements, past the information centre and 2 floors up by escalator.

What The Ritz-Carlton is

The height becomes apparent on arrival: the lobby is on floor 103. On clear days the view crosses the harbour towards Hong Kong Island; at other times clouds become the landscape. City, Seaview and Victoria Harbour describe different outlooks. For the island’s skyline, choose the last.

Deluxe rooms offer 50 m². Moving to Club changes the day chiefly through 5 food and drink presentations, a private lounge and outward car journeys within Kowloon. Meals in the restaurants and in-room dining have their own bill.

For an occasion there is Italian cooking at Tosca di Angelo, dim sum at Tin Lung Heen and cocktails at OZONE on 118. The heated indoor pool offers a break from humidity or rain; the spa and fitness centre apply an adult-only access rule.

I would choose it to live with the view and use the hotel’s spaces. Elements and the stations below the tower help with journeys, though lifts separate the bedroom from the street. City life begins after the descent.

The scores come from 500 Google reviews with text, left from 10 January 2023 to 13 October 2026. The other hotels are the ones weighed for a stay in Hong Kong: for each we read its latest 500 Google reviews with text, or all of them where there are fewer, as of 15 October 2026. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well. Where only a few mention something, the score stays close to the guide’s average: a handful of voices does not make a reputation.
