For a Monte-Carlo break built around restaurant tables and evenings out, Google’s lowest seller shows one night for 2 adults from €705. For a winter trip centred on the beach and outdoor pools, choose another season.

The lobby at Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo
  1. The terrace to request

I would ask for the 43 m² Exclusive Sea View with Terrace for a private outdoor space facing the Mediterranean; these rooms sit on floors 1–6, with connecting rooms available on request.

  2. A week in January

Read on 14 October 2026, Google’s 11–17 January 2027 nights run from €720 to €748 each in separate one-night searches for 2 adults; the dearest night shown is 26 May 2027 at €2,501.

  3. Parking and breakfast costs

Budget €70 per day for parking and, when breakfast is outside your rate, €68 per person per day for the Signature buffet, served in the restaurant or in your room with taxes and service included.

  4. Staying past check-out time

For a late departure, ask before keeping the room: check-out until 3pm costs 50% of the nightly rate, and after 4pm the full night, subject to availability and the hotel’s approval.

What Hôtel de Paris is

The curved façade takes one side of Place du Casino. Inside, the marble lobby gives way to Le Bar Américain’s wood and armchairs; on the 8th floor, Le Grill looks beyond the harbour. Dinner and an evening out can become the point of the trip, without getting into a car.

Choose the room for its outlook. A 34 m² Superior faces the patio; an Exclusive Casino View has 30 m² and looks towards the Casino. A grander name does not always mean more space. For time outdoors above the sea, the Exclusive Sea View with Terrace has 43 m² and a private terrace.

In winter the bar stays open until 1am and Thermes Marins lists its pool and gym from 7am to 9pm. Beach days belong to the season: the Beach Club announces spring 2027, and the Wellness Sky Club has already closed its pool, bar and dining area. Come now for Monte-Carlo, restaurants and the spa.

The extras are concrete: €68 for the breakfast buffet, €70 a day for the car and €7 tourist tax per adult per day. A breakfast rate or parking offer can change the total; Diamond Suites come with further services listed with the booking.

The scores come from 500 Google reviews with text, left from 30 January 2023 to 8 October 2026. Google reviews include bar and restaurant visits; they are not all overnight stays. One review explicitly referring to a hotel in Rome was excluded. The other hotels are the ones weighed for a stay in Monaco: for each we read its latest 500 Google reviews with text, or all of them where there are fewer, as of 15 October 2026. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well. Where only a few mention something, the score stays close to the guide’s average: a handful of voices does not make a reputation.

The hotels we weigh it against in Monaco:

  • Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo
  • Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort
  • Hotel Metropole, Monte Carlo
  • Fairmont Monte Carlo
