May is where it jumps: a 5-star goes from €708 to €1,253. From November to late March most of these hotels shut, nearly all the 5-stars among them: Le Sirenuse reopens on 27 March 2027 and Il San Pietro on 9 April.

When would you go?

I’d go between 15 and 22 April: a 5-star costs about €650 a night, before prices climb from 23 April.

A typical night is the middle hotel: half cost more, half less. Each price is the lowest any seller showed for one night for 2 adults, with taxes and fees as that seller lists them.
