If you go sooner, Tivoli President, a 5-minute walk from the Duomo, and Residenza del Cardinale, in a thirteenth-century palazzo, opened in 2026.

Milan puts its new hotels where you least expect them. METT takes the crown of Torre Velasca,4 The Duke opens inside Milano Centrale8 and Soho House moves into the old Cinema Arti, which had become a boxing gym in the meantime.9
For once, missing your train might be the plan.
The big names land in the Quadrilatero and Brera: the Rosewood in two nineteenth-century palazzi, one of them the old Banca Commerciale Italiana,5 Six Senses at Via Brera 19 10 and J.K. Place in Versace’s former offices.11 The first two say 2027, and both said 2025 before.12 13
Via Cardinal Federico · open since September 2026.6 28 rooms and suites in a thirteenth-century palazzo, and the cardinal of the name is Federico Borromeo.14 15 For a small, new address in the old centre.

Largo Augusto, by San Babila · open since 28 April 2026.1 A 5-minute walk from the Duomo, with 60 suites among 239 rooms.1 For a new five-star in the centre without the Quadrilatero’s bill.

For a weekend on foot: the Quadrilatero starts at the gate and La Scala is a stroll away.24
