Hotel Cipriani reopens on 1 June 2027, with 14 more redesigned rooms
Hotel Cipriani is closed until 1 June 2027, with another 14 redesigned rooms promised for its return. If that is the reason you are waiting, have the room category and its place in the refurbishment confirmed with your reservation.

What is coming back on Giudecca
The work continues in stages. The next bedrooms will join the double-height lobby and 25 redesigned suites and junior suites. When you book, the useful distinction is which part of the Cipriani you will sleep in.2
The Dior Spa and reworked Oro restaurant are already part of the transformed hotel. A spa photograph does not reserve a treatment for your arrival: I would ask for that appointment alongside the room.12
The complimentary launch to St Mark’s remains part of a stay, with a 5-minute crossing. If returning to a garden after Venice is what draws you to Giudecca, that is a reason to wait; confirm the service for your dates.1

What I would ask before booking
| Ask before booking · 1 | Which category guarantees one of the 14 rooms redesigned for 2027? |
|---|---|
| Ask before booking · 2 | Will the spa, Oro and launch operate during my stay? |
| Ask before booking · 3 | What happens to my reservation if the reopening changes? |
Other hotels to consider
If you want to change hotels, I would start with these.

Aman Venice
For Palazzo Papadopoli on the Grand Canal, with a waterside garden.
There is no pool: it will not replace a swimming holiday at the Cipriani.
Why choose it
Ask for a Stanza Canal Grande or Grand Canal Suite if you want the canal from your window.

The Gritti Palace
For a Grand Canal palazzo, its private landing stage and waterside terrace.
It has no shared swimming pool; winter dining is indoors.
Why choose it
If you want the Grand Canal from your bedroom, reserve a category with that view.

Ca’ di Dio
For the Arsenale waterfront, facing San Giorgio Maggiore.
Choose it for Castello and the Lagoon; confirm your room and view before reserving.
Why choose it
VERO is the hotel’s restaurant overlooking the basin.
