For a few days in Bandra, a sea-facing room and an evening at House of Nomad give you reasons to spend time at the hotel. If the trip revolves around Colaba’s monuments, look at the journeys south first.

Is it for you?

For a weekend together, I would look at the Royal Suite: I like having the option of dinner in our own dining area rather than filling every evening with reservations. House of Nomad would start the evening; I would leave what follows open.

I’d ask for
The Royal Suite, with the arrangements for dinner served in its dining area.
Worth knowing
Have in-suite service priced with the menu: having a dining area does not mean dinner is included.
Taj Lands End

Like a regular

Taj Lands End’s lounge, with sofas and a large colourful painting
  1. The room to request

I would ask for a Taj Club Room Sea View if I would use breakfast, cocktails and the one-way airport transfer. Before paying for them separately, compare the bill with an ordinary room.

  2. Budget for the spa

Indian Aromatherapy costs INR 8,000 for 60 minutes or INR 12,000 for 90 minutes, plus applicable taxes. I would choose the length before planning the rest of the afternoon.

  3. Rabbits in the garden

Leave some time for the garden: 2 guests describe the rabbits there. One writes that the children enjoy both the garden animals and the swimming pool.

What Taj Lands End is

Taj Lands End has 452 rooms and 34 suites. Its gardens and reception spaces also draw Mumbai residents; for overnight guests, choosing between bay, sea and Sea Link starts with the room name.

The 5 things that matter, as guests tell them

What do Taj Lands End’s guests say? They write it in their reviews, even those who only came for a drink or dinner: we read every one and tell the 5 things that matter, from the location to the bill.

  1. Location

9 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. Waking to the Sea Link stays in one guest’s memory; another finds getting here difficult.

  2. Room

7 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. A little dated inside, but clean and comfortable: that is one guest’s account after an overnight stay.

  3. Staff and service

8 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. Promptly handled requests impress one guest; another dislikes having to chase a waiter at the bar.

  4. Breakfast

The variety wins over one guest; another describes a long breakfast queue.

  5. Price

One guest finds the stay worth the bill; another finds the rooms too dated for the price.

380 guests said so on Google, from 12 December 2025 to 18 October 2026. Stored Google reviews dated from 4 November 2024; the latest 500 with text, or every available text when fewer. The other hotels are the ones weighed for a stay in Mumbai: for each we read its latest 500 Google reviews with text, or all of them where there are fewer, as of 4 November 2026. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well. Where only a few mention something, the score stays close to the guide’s average: a handful of voices does not make a reputation.

The hotels we weigh it against in Mumbai:

Price: for 2, the night of 23 July 2027, from 20,830 INR on Google Hotels on 18 October 2026.

When I would look at dates

Questions about Taj Lands End

How much does one night cost?

For 2 adults, one night on 16 November 2026 starts at INR 24,121; 14 December 2026 at INR 30,484; 15 February 2027 at INR 36,257. Each night is searched separately: check room, meals, taxes and cancellation against the chosen rate. Prices from Google Hotels, 18 October 2026.

Where would I eat?

Ming Yang serves Sichuan and Cantonese dishes, Masala Bay Indian cooking and Vista international food. Vista opens 24 hours; House of Nomad from 5pm to 1.30am. Atrium Bar & Lounge and Tropics add places for a drink.

Where is breakfast served?

Vista’s breakfast buffet runs from 7am to 10.30am. Best Available Rate is room-only: compare it with a rate including the meal rather than assuming breakfast comes with the room price.

Which pool will I use?

The main pool is outdoors in the garden, with an adjoining children’s pool and waterfall. It opens from 6am to 10pm; under-12s need an accompanying adult. The heated rooftop pool belongs to the spa facilities.

What is J Wellness Circle like?

There is a couples’ suite with a bath, steam room and shower, 4 single treatment rooms, a lounge, sanarium, ice chute, experience shower and Jacuzzi. It opens daily from 9am to 9pm.

How do I arrange a treatment?

Arrive 30 minutes before a treatment for the wet areas. If staying elsewhere, have the price and access specified with the session; treatment has its own charge. The gym opens 24 hours.

Where do I leave the car?

There is valet and covered parking for up to 500 cars. Airport transfers need at least 24 hours’ notice: have the journey and cost set out with the booking.

What can children do outside the room?

There is a play area, and the garden trail includes koi fish and birdwatching. Have the child’s age, extra-bed charge and category confirmed before paying.

Are there reception venues?

Seaside Lawns cover 3,163 m²: up to 2,000 people for a reception or 500 at round tables. Malabar is 156 m² and takes up to 80. Have the exact layout quoted with meals, rooms and services.

Which offer would I compare?

For at least 3 nights, compare the longer-stay offer with the ordinary rate. For a suite, look at Suite Surprises: compare the inclusions of the offer you can buy for your own dates.

What should I book for New Year’s Eve?

For 31 December 2026, have the menu, programme, hours and price specified with the table. A bedroom or ordinary dinner booking does not establish the evening’s arrangements.

Can I bring my dog?

Pets are not allowed.

Can I work from the room?

Basic Wi-Fi is included; premium access costs extra. Rooms have a desk, and the business centre opens 24 hours.

I would choose the St. Regis for work in Lower Parel and evenings dining with the city beyond the windows. For walking straight out towards the Gateway of India, I would look for a base in Colaba.

I would book here for a South Mumbai stay, with time for Marine Drive between outings around the city. If the trip revolves around Bandra or offices in BKC, look at the journeys first: a fine view does not make the traffic shorter.

JW Marriott Hotel New Delhi Aerocity

I would choose it for an early departure or late arrival, leaving a few hours between the bedroom and pool. For daily walks around central Delhi, compare the journeys first: Aerocity is a base close to the airport.
