Adults only resorts in the Maldives: the 5 with a written minimum age

Hurawalhi welcomes guests above the age of 15 and calls itself a 90-villa, adults-only resort (Hurawalhi). Its house reef is sheltered and shallow, a few fin kicks from the beach (house reef). The plans are half board, full board or All-Inclusive Plus, with drinks at Coco Bar from 10am to 1am; 5.8, teppanyaki and in-villa dining are always charged. The seaplane takes 40 minutes with Trans Maldivian Airways, in daylight, and costs $480 per adult return from 17 August 2026 on Booking.com. The resort takes guests aged 16 and above and has no facilities for children (FAQ); the guest who checks in must be 18 (Booking.com). Since 27 December 2025 every stay is on Premium All-Inclusive, with 5 à la carte restaurants and drinks by the glass from 10am to 2am; H2O costs $220 a head for lunch and $300 for dinner, food only (H2O). The house reef is a short boat ride away, and the lagoon round the island can be snorkelled from the villas (FAQ). The seaplane takes 45 minutes and costs $485 per adult return until 23 December and $515 from 24 December (Booking.com). Cinnamon keeps the resort and all its accommodation for guests above 18 years of age, across 2 islands; the Platinum Beach Bungalows stand on the second (2 adults-only islands). None of the 4 categories has a private pool (rooms). The all-inclusive offer covers 3 meals at Malaafaiy, selected drinks until midnight, the minibar, snorkelling gear and one à la carte dinner at Corals. According to Booking.com, the snorkelling boat leaves twice a day for reefs about 10 minutes away, and the seaplane takes 45 minutes and costs $450 per adult return until 31 December 2026. Guests write of dead or damaged coral since mid-2024, and one found it lovely in July 2026 (Google reviews). Stays are for guests from 18, across 67 villas. Families staying at Dhigu, across the lagoon, may dine at Cumin and Origami from 6.30 to 9.30pm, while the Dhoni Bar stays for guests from 18 (restaurants). The shared boat is compulsory and runs round the clock: $354 a person return, taxes included, in about 30 minutes; a private boat costs $1,158 each way for up to 6 (transfers). The offer terms say that only guests above the age of 18 years are permitted. The fact sheet counts 140 villas, 30 on the beach and 110 over the water, and describes a house reef protected by coral restoration; in June 2026, 2 divers called it beautiful but warned of a current that pulls towards the shipping lanes (Google reviews).
