I would ask for the Deluxe Over Water Villa: 92 m², a split-level sundeck and a tub for 2 facing the lagoon, for days divided between the deck and long baths.

What Anantara Veli is
Veli reopened in December 2022 after refurbishment and now has 67 villas. Anantara’s reopening account describes whites, soft blues, wood and stone in the water villas. New Beach Pool Villas opened onto the sand and an extra branch extended the water-villa jetty. Water villas start at 66 m²; the Beach Pool Villa has 145 m² and its own pool. Dinner at Baan Huraa starts with a walk along the boardwalk to its Thai pavilion. Fushi Café, Aqua, Sea Fire Salt and The Yellow Fin Club are across the lagoon on Dhigu, about 1 minute away by pontoon boat. Only adults stay on Veli, though Dhigu families may dine at Cumin and Origami from 6.30 to 9.30pm; Dhoni Bar is for guests from 18. (All Inclusive Indulgence, restaurants).
Balance Wellness turns inland, to a garden with 4 treatment suites, a hammam, sauna, steam room and hot and cold plunge pools. Dhigu has the spa over the water. The dedicated Spa, Pamper & Wellness Retreat includes a 60-minute Signature Massage per person for every night, a consultation, jetlag treatment and a personal training or yoga session. There is snorkelling in the lagoon and on guided reef trips; Summer Escape also includes access to Gulhifushi for its house reef. If snorkelling is the reason for the trip, ask where you will enter the water and swim before choosing a villa. Google Hotels showed $938 for 29 November 2026, $1,028 for 5 December and $1,460 for 8 January 2027, per night for 2 adults, taxes and fees included, read on 12 October 2026. These are calendar minima with no confirmed villa category or meal plan. (Google Hotels).
No prices appeared for September or October, while the calendar ran through August 2027; ask the resort for availability and a quote for those dates. What prices did the seller comparison show?
For 16–19 November 2026, 3 nights and 2 adults, Google Hotels showed Anantara.com at $1,088 a night and Bluepillow at $994 a night, taxes and fees included, read on 5 October 2026. Anantara.com’s result identified an Ocean Pool Villa; its Google card listed free breakfast and free cancellation until 17 October 2026. Bluepillow did not specify a villa category; its meal plan and transfer inclusion in either rate remain unidentified.
