Baglioni Maldives Luxury All Inclusive Resort

Dinner at Baglioni can be Mediterranean Italian at La Limonaia, Japanese at Yama or a grill with Middle Eastern and Asian influences at Fuego. All 3 open 19:30–22:30. Taste serves breakfast 07:30–10:30, lunch 12:30–15:00 and dinner 19:30–22:30. Mirto Pool Bar and Pizza Boat complete the current list; Gusto and Umami are names found in earlier material.

Mirto opens 09:00–01:00, serving lunch 12:30–15:00. Pizza Boat is the oven beside the pool, open 12:00–18:00. Choose from sushi, sashimi, pasta, burgers and pizza; ask the restaurant for a full list of individual prices. Fuego charges extra for Tomahawk, Wagyu Ribeye, lobster and king crab; the events material also lists Yama’s teppanyaki as an extra.

Meals and a selection of drinks are included. Yama warns that its kitchen is not a gluten-free environment even when it uses gluten-free ingredients, so cross-contamination remains a risk.

Aura Spa offers treatments for couples and in-villa sessions. Ask about the size of the spa and the availability of a sauna, steam room or thermal circuit before planning a visit; the published details are incomplete. The older PDF still carries the Baglioni Spa name and different hours and tax figures; ask for a current quote before booking.

For 2 adults, Google’s calendar, read on 5 October 2026, showed $1,012 a night on 16 November 2026, $1,543 on 9 January 2027 and $1,605 on 1 March 2027. No room, meal plan or seaplane was specified; the tax and fee basis is inferred from the Maldives market. A separate search for 3 nights, 16–19 November, returned Qantas at USD 1,079 and an Expedia Beach Villa at USD 1,077.

At USD 1,108, the official site showed a Beach Villa – Standard rate All Inclusive for 2 adults and 2 children: 4 guests, despite the search being for 2 travellers. HomeToGo asked the same USD 1,108 for 2, without naming a room. Get quotes for the same guests and villa before comparing them. The later screen’s Nightly total includes taxes and fees; the seaplane remains unconfirmed in every rate, and on 15 October 2026 the official booking page sold the USD 1,108 price as «Pay in Full & Save», non-refundable under its booking conditions, beside a flexible rate at USD 1,166.

This is Baglioni Maldives Luxury All Inclusive Resort on Maagau in Dhaalu Atoll. The brand history dates its Maldives opening to 2019; events material lists 85 units. The Palace Company announced full ownership of Baglioni Hotels & Resorts on 11 October 2023 after acquiring 75% in November 2022. This establishes an ownership change rather than a complete island renovation. The current catalogue returns 10 categories.

Google shows 4.6/5 from 254 ratings, read on 5 October 2026. We collected 156 reviews and kept the 70 from 1 November 2023, the first full month after the ownership change. They run to 20 September 2026: of the guests who write about the location 85% are happy with it, of those who write about service 84% and about the villas 82%. 7 write about breakfast and 11 about money, some finding the bill high and others saying it is worth it. Staff, food and snorkelling draw praise; the floating breakfast, premium dishes and the spa sit outside the all-inclusive, and the seaplane flies by day only.

The celebrations team offers weddings, anniversaries and private parties; the MICE material also covers groups and meetings. Ask for the price and capacity of your chosen layout, and for confirmation of the ceremony’s legal status: these details are not specified. Romantic packages include dinner and other benefits, with certificate, travel-date and minimum-stay requirements set out in the offers answer.

The shared pool is beside Mirto. For a pool at your villa, choose a category that names one: Beach Villa, Water Villa and Sunset Water Villa do not list a private pool. Ask for dimensions, depth and water temperature; floating breakfast costs extra.

Resort Credit gives USD 200 per occupied room and stay towards spa treatments and dining upgrades; Maagau diving is excluded. Treatments cost extra, and Luxury offers a spa discount. Outside guests should ask about availability and prices for a day pass or thermal admission; free access is not confirmed.

The 10 categories publish interior and terrace separately in square feet. Beach Villa: 700+269 ft², 4 guests; Water Villa and Sunset Water Villa: 646+484, 3; Water Villa with Pool: 646+484, 3; Sunset Beach Villa with Pool: 700+269, 4; Deluxe Beach Villa with Pool: 829+463, 4; Deluxe Beach Suite with Pool: 1,238+807, 5; Two-Bedroom Family Beach Villa with Pool: 1,453+484, 6; Two-Bedroom Beach Suite with Pool: 1,938+883, 6; Grand Baglioni Maldives Villa: 4,306+3,983, 9. These maxima count guests rather than adults alone. The Grand has 3 bedrooms and the 2 Two-Bedroom categories have 2. Deluxe Beach Villa describes a bedroom with lounge; the Suite offers more spacious, distinct living areas. The areas above are interior + terrace. Photographs illustrate the category and the assigned villa may differ.

The resort offers stays in 2026 and 2027, and Google shows prices through July 2027. For later months, where some dates are blank, ask the resort about opening and availability. The calendar cannot distinguish a closure from sold-out rooms, and the pages read contain no notice of a planned closure.

The resort occupies Maagau in Dhaalu Atoll, reached by seaplane from Malé. The map uses the hotel’s Google listing. Beach categories face the sand; Water Villas have decks above the lagoon.

For 31 December 2026 at Maagau, ask the resort for the gala programme and price. Festive Season ends before New Year: it covers stays through 23 December, with checkout by the 24th. Other offers have their own festive exclusions in the terms.

You reach Maagau by seaplane from Malé, with no car needed for the journey to the resort. If you need to leave one at Malé airport, ask for the parking price; no verified rate is available here.

Choose a Beach Villa for sand in front of you, or a Water Villa for a deck above the lagoon. Snorkelling, diving and water sports are offered; before entering from your villa, ask about reef distance, depth and currents, for which we have no verified measurements for each villa.

If golf is the reason for your trip, ask the resort for a named course, green fees and transport. The pages consulted do not publish a resort golf course or package, and courses across the whole archipelago have not been checked. Maagau’s listed activities include tennis, yoga, snorkelling, diving and spa treatments.

A bottle and USD 200 towards spa treatments or dining upgrades are the benefits of Complimentary Wine Bottle and Resort Credit, once per occupied room and stay, read on 5 October 2026. Make a new booking directly on the hotel website by 31 October and stay by 31 December 2026. The bottle’s brand and availability may vary. Credit excludes Maagau diving and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred. MICE, trade, tour operators and complimentary or discounted stays are excluded. The 2 pages give no common minimum stay; check the requirement for your rate.

Kids and Teens Free includes the room, meals and drinks for children aged 0–17 at check-in, sharing with at least one paying adult within the room’s capacity. Declare their ages when booking and bring proof. Book by 31 October and stay by 23 December 2026, checking out by the 24th. Flights are excluded and the minimum stay may vary with the dates. The exclusion still listed for 27 December 2025–3 January 2026 belongs to the previous season; no corresponding December 2026 exclusion is given.

Luxury Packages adds a romantic in-villa dinner with flowers, one shisha, 20% off spa treatments and a choice of Sunset Cruise or a local-island visit, plus non-motorised sports. It is for 2 guests staying at least 4 nights, 17 July 2026–30 April 2027, and must be added to the booking by 31 October. Eligible villas are Deluxe Beach Suite with Pool, Two-Bedroom Family Beach Villa with Pool, Two-Bedroom Beach Suite with Pool and Grand Baglioni Maldives Villa; Deluxe Beach Villa is excluded. Each benefit is available once, subject to availability, and cannot be combined with current or future promotions. Trade, tour operators, FAM, gifts, complimentary stays and discounted rates are excluded. Benefits cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another room.

For a honeymoon or anniversary, Romantic Packages includes a personalised gift and sparkling wine, dinner for 2 and a romantic bath on stays of at least 4 nights. Deluxe requires 5 nights and adds 60 minutes of private yoga and breakfast in the villa; floating breakfast is excluded. Provide a certificate when booking: honeymoons must fall within 12 months of marriage and anniversaries within the anniversary month. Add the package by 31 October and stay by 23 December, checking out by the 24th. Reserve dinner in one of the 5 restaurants, subject to availability. Easter, Thanksgiving, Presidents’ Day, Christmas, New Year and other variable festive dates are excluded, without a complete calendar, along with the booking categories excluded in the terms. The package cannot be combined with other promotions.

For stays from 15 November to 23 December 2026, checking out by the 24th, Festive Season advertises savings up to 25%. Book directly on the website by 31 October; the rate is prepaid and non-refundable. It includes a bottle per room and stay, USD 200 for spa and dining upgrades, and children aged 0–17 with an adult under the terms above. Luxury remains an addition for 2 guests and at least 4 nights, with one of the 2 excursions, a 20% spa discount, in-villa dinner, non-motorised sports and one shisha. You cannot cancel and rebook to obtain the offer. Trade, tour operators, FAM and complimentary or discounted stays are excluded, with no cash refund.

For stays from 3 January to 30 April 2027, Resort Deal offers Pay Now & Save with advertised savings up to 30%. Book by 31 December 2026 and check out by 1 May; 14–20 February is excluded. The rate is prepaid, with no refund for changes or cancellation. Children, the bottle and credit follow the terms above. If adding Luxury for 2 guests and 4 nights, check the April dates: Resort Deal’s footnote ends on 1 April 2027, while its heading and the separate package run to 30 April. The benefit remains unconfirmed for 2–30 April. You cannot cancel and rebook to obtain the offer; the same exclusions and bans on cash conversion or transfer apply. Get any combination confirmed: the offers establish no common coupon, complimentary seaplane or automatic stacking of benefits.

Aura Spa recommends booking at least 24 hours ahead and arriving 15 minutes early; mention pregnancy or health conditions. The spa opens 09:00–20:00 and the gym 05:00–23:00; the older Baglioni Spa PDF instead gives 09:00–21:00. Ask for the cancellation penalty before confirming, as the current information gives no single rule.

Swim in the shared pool beside Mirto or choose one of the villas with a private pool. If heated water or a swim at a particular time matters, ask about heating, temperature and opening hours before booking; these are not published on the pages consulted.

Alongside the sea and pool, there are tennis, yoga, a gym and a Kids Club. Aura Spa, excursions and some watersports cost extra. Of the 10 villa categories, the Grand has 3 bedrooms, a 24-hour butler, housekeeping, a buggy, a private à la carte chef, waiter and barman. Its catalogue does not list all meals prepared by the private chef as complimentary or specify event capacities and thermal facilities.

The earlier Baglioni Spa PDF prices Balinese massages at USD 190/225 for 60/90 minutes, Restoring at USD 225 for 90 minutes and Coppia at USD 350 per couple for 90 minutes. Express treatments of 30 minutes start at USD 75/85; 60-minute Private Sunrise/Sunset Yoga is USD 100 for one or USD 175 for 2; Bambini Massage in the Junior programme is USD 60/125 for 30/60 minutes; the 90-minute Sogno Lifting Facial is USD 280. Those menu prices include 10% service and GST at 16%, the rate before July 2025; TGST has been 17% since 1 July 2025 (MIRA, read on 15 October 2026), so they are not confirmed 2026 prices. Aura’s current page adds 30% per person for in-villa treatments and lists Junior programmes for ages 5–12.

The seaplane takes about 45 minutes. International arrivals must be between 06:00 and 15:30 and departures after 08:50; outside those times a night in Malé may be at the guest’s expense. Flight details are due at least 72 hours ahead. The wait is at Noovilu’s TMA Infinity VIP lounge, with a buffet and Wi-Fi. The allowance is 25 kg checked and 5 kg hand luggage, but the page permits only bags under 3 kg onboard. TMA charges for excess, with no amount given in the sources read. When you are the only passengers travelling to Baglioni on the scheduled seaplane, you may land on a neighbouring island, followed by about 8 minutes by boat. Ask for a current transfer quote; the offers examined do not confirm a free transfer.

A guest writing in July 2026 describes colourful fish on the house reef; another went snorkelling independently on most days. Maagau’s December 2025 footage also shows coral and fish. Snorkelling equipment is included and diving costs extra. There are no measurements for the reef or currents outside each villa, and wildlife sightings remain unpredictable.

The minibar is replenished daily with water, beer, soft drinks, snacks and chocolate. Restaurant meals and selected drinks follow each venue’s hours; in-villa dining runs from 06:00 to 24:00. Kayaks, paddle boats, snorkelling equipment, yoga, meditation, basic tennis and the gym are included. Floating breakfast, spa treatments, excursions, some watersports, teppanyaki and premium dishes cost extra. Italian wines and liquors also have an included selection, rather than every bottle or complimentary tastings.

The Kids Club offers creative, nature and sporting activities 10:00–18:00, for ages 4–12 according to its dedicated page. The club’s own page, read on 15 October 2026, is the one to go by for its ages and hours; the all-inclusive page says 3–15. Kids and Teens Free covers the room, meals and drinks for ages 0–17 at check-in, declared when booking with proof of age, with at least one paying adult in the same villa and within its capacity; it is not infant babysitting. Aura Spa lists Junior programmes for ages 5–12.

MIRA sets TGST at 17% from 1 July 2025 and resort Green Tax at USD 12 per person per day from 1 January 2025, exempting children under 2 at check-in. The old spa menu’s prices include 10% service and GST at 16%, the rate before July 2025. Google’s Nightly total already includes taxes and fees, so they should not be added again. The calendar uses an assumed market tax basis, while the official rate examined shows 4 guests instead of the 2 searched for.
