Lily Beach suits couples and families who want Champagne included and a reef to swim to from the beach, from $930 for one night taken alone in April 2027: the lowest price any seller showed on Google, for 2 adults. A trip that wants a large island, or another meal plan, suits a different resort.

  1. The villa to ask for

I would ask for a Deluxe Water Villa: 126 m² over the water, with a 7 m² Jacuzzi plunge pool, a glass floor section and the house reef just a few metres from the deck.

  2. The weeks that cost less

In the calendar read on 12 October 2026, the week of 12 to 18 April 2027 shows $930 for each of 7 nights, each one night taken alone. The dearest one night taken alone is 7 December 2026, at $2,909.

  3. Booking the Tamarind table

Dinner there is included once a week, but seating is limited: the resort suggests booking at your earliest convenience through the front office, and a guest writing in April 2026 advises an outside table.

What Lily Beach is

Lily Beach opened in 1994 and is Maldivian-owned, part of Lily Hotels (Travel Trade Maldives); in 2009 it was renovated from top to bottom and reopened as an all-inclusive 5-star (Maldives Magazine). It sits on Huvahendhoo island in South Ari Atoll, 80 km from Malé (FAQ); the island covers about 6 hectares and a walk round its shore takes 18 minutes (OpenStreetMap).

Every villa is sold with the Platinum Plan only (Platinum Plan): the Lily Maa buffets at breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a different theme every night; unlimited drinks at the Spirit Bar, AQVA, Vibes and the Beach Bar; a list of 80 wines and Taittinger Champagne by the glass; a minibar restocked daily with beer and wine; one dinner a week at Tamarind, the Thai and Indian restaurant over the water; and 3 excursions per person per stay.

The house reef rings the island and is known across Ari Atoll for its coral and fish (snorkelling); you swim to it, 10 to 20 metres off the beach (Expedia). Prodivers, the dive centre, reaches some 50 sites (FAQ). Mandara’s Tamara Spa has its pavilions over the water, with a sauna and steam room in the largest double villa (Tamara Spa).

Guests give it 4.8 out of 5 on Google from 1,268 reviews, 4.8 on Tripadvisor from 6,774 and 9.4 on Booking.com from 239, read on 5 October 2026. They praise the reef, the staff and the all-inclusive (Google).

The 5 things that matter, as guests tell them

What do Lily Beach’s guests say? They write it in their reviews, even those who only came for a drink or dinner: we read every one and tell the 5 things that matter, from the location to the bill.

  1. Location

Nearly every guest who mentions it is happy with it. Guests write about snorkelling a few metres off the shore, among turtles and sharks, on a small, green island.

  2. Room

8 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. From 68 m² on the beach to 182 m² over the water: guests write about the space, the cleanliness and the water villas.

  3. Staff and service

Nearly every guest who mentions it is happy with it. Guests thank the staff by name: the waiters at Lily Maa, housekeeping, reception and the spa.

  4. Breakfast

Breakfast is the buffet at Lily Maa, with its sand floor, from 7 to 10.30am; the counters include European cheeses.

  5. Price

6 in 10 guests who mention the price find it fair. They write that the all-inclusive leaves little out, and every villa here is sold that way.

The scores come from 500 Google reviews with text, left from 3 March 2023 to 2 October 2026. The other hotels are the ones weighed for a stay in the Maldives: for each we read its latest 500 Google reviews with text, or all of them where there are fewer, as of 5 October 2026. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well. Where only a few mention something, the score stays close to the guide’s average: a handful of voices does not make a reputation.

The hotels we weigh it against in the Maldives:

Price: for two on the night of 12 April 2027, from $930 (seen on Google Hotels on 12 October 2026).

What a night costs, season by season

For one night taken alone and 2 adults, nights run from $1,018 to $1,766 between 6 November and 23 December 2026, from $1,328 to $1,640 between 8 January and 11 April 2027, and from $930 to $1,024 from 12 April to 1 September. I would plan around 12 to 18 April 2027, when one night taken alone shows $930 on each of 7 nights. Between 5 and 12 October, 13 of the 303 nights on both calendars fell by 5% or more and 20 rose by 5% or more.
