The published Boathouse canoe tariff for hotel guests is C$110 plus GST for an hour, payable by card or room charge. It is closed for the season and announces its return in summer 2027.
The catalogue separates 25 categories. A Fairmont Room gives you 21 m² and views of the grounds; Fairmont Lakeview keeps the footprint and puts the lake beyond the bed. Deluxe Rooms grow to 34 m², Mount Temple Deluxe to 41 m². The 2-bedroom categories reach 96 m².
Fairmont Gold occupies floors 7–8, with private reception, a lounge, breakfast and canapés from 5pm to 7pm. Choose the outlook carefully here too: the 20 m² Gold Room faces the grounds; Lakeview categories face the water.
BASIN adds indoor and outdoor thermal bathing, hot and cold spaces, and places to rest below the mountains. It is for adults staying overnight, with a separate reservation: C$299 plus tax per person for 3 hours. Families have the resort’s heated indoor pool and supervised programmes for ages 5–12.

The scores come from 500 Google reviews with text, left from 12 July 2026 to 16 October 2026. The other hotels are the ones weighed for a stay in Banff National Park: for each we read its latest 500 Google reviews with text, or all of them where there are fewer, as of 16 October 2026. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well.
