I would ask for the Ocean Suite to stay close to the lobby: 87 m² with a king-size bed, a few steps from the beach and main pool.
For 7–10 December 2026, Google’s calendar showed MXN10,160–10,291 a night for 2 adults, read on 17 October 2026. The night of 29 December reached MXN39,815.
The 2026 spa list prices the 60-minute Experience of the Elements at MXN2,700. Allow for the 16% tax and 18% service charge added to the spa bill when choosing a treatment.
Book La Punta for dinner before you arrive; reservations are required and the restaurant admits adults and children over 15. Men can wear dressy shorts with a collared shirt and closed shoes.
The arrival sets the scene: a long reflecting pool frames the sea, with columns and a timber ceiling drawing the eye towards the water. Mangroves lie behind, beaches ahead. NIZUC spreads 274 suites and villas across 29 acres, with golf carts available around the clock for the Residence Suites.
For a couple I would choose an Ocean Suite: 87 m² in total, close to the lobby, beaches and main pool. With children, start with the Residence Suites. The Garden Junior has a plunge pool facing the mangroves; the Master adds a living room, dining area and infinity pool, with an Ocean View Deluxe Double available as a connecting room. The garden villas welcome families with children older than 5.
Dinner can move between Mexican regional cooking at Ramona, Asian dishes at Indochine, Peruvian food at Ni, and pasta and wood-fired cooking at Terra Nostra. La Punta serves grilled fish and meat overlooking the sea, for adults and children over 15. Ramona requires a reservation; men need trousers and closed shoes.
The spa’s Experience of the Elements moves through steam, sauna, showers, a cold plunge and a vitality pool with hydro-massage; there is also a mixed outdoor spa pool. Its 2026 list prices the 60-minute circuit at MXN2,700, with 16% tax and 18% service added. The spa’s facilities policy includes access to the facilities with treatments lasting 60 minutes or more.

The scores come from 500 Google reviews with text, left from 16 November 2021 to 15 October 2026. The other hotels are the ones weighed for a stay in Cancún: for each we read its latest 500 Google reviews with text, or all of them where there are fewer, as of 17 October 2026. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well. Where only a few mention something, the score stays close to the guide’s average: a handful of voices does not make a reputation.
