I would come for a New York evening that continues after returning to the hotel: dinner, a drink high above the streets, and the city still beyond the bed. For a trip centred on Central Park, I would choose a base closer to the park.

Is it for you?

For an occasion together, I would leave an evening for the hotel. A high-floor room earns its place when the view becomes part of your time together.

Worth knowing

  1. What to pack

For dinner at Bazaar Meat, pack a shirt and trousers: that is the restaurant’s dress code.

  2. Your shirt for the evening

Club access includes pressing for up to 2 garments, useful when your shirt arrives in a suitcase.

  3. Flowers in the morning

If you are awake early, you can visit the flower district from 6am.

What The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad is

The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad is in the Flower District. It has 219 guest rooms, 31 suites and 14 penthouses.

Zaytinya serves mezze inspired by Turkish, Greek and Lebanese cooking; Bazaar Meat builds its menu around fire and meat.

I would add Club access only with time to return during the day: its programme has 5 daily culinary presentations.

How we choose the hotels

The 5 things that matter, as guests tell them

What do The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad’s guests say? They write it in their reviews, even those who only came for a drink or dinner: we read every one and tell the 5 things that matter, from the location to the bill.

  1. Location

9 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. One guest describes walking to several restaurants in the neighbourhood.

  2. Room

7 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. A returning guest praises the modern, well-designed rooms.

  3. Staff and service

6 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. Thoughtful staff receive praise; one guest instead reports missed room cleaning.

  4. Price

Guests who discuss the price would like more for their money.

181 guests said so on Google, from 12 November 2024 to 27 October 2026. Stored Google reviews dated from 4 November 2024; the latest 500 with text, or every available text when fewer. The other hotels are the ones weighed for a stay in New York: for each we read its latest 500 Google reviews with text, or all of them where there are fewer, as of 4 November 2026. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well. Where only a few mention something, the score stays close to the guide’s average: a handful of voices does not make a reputation.

The hotels we weigh it against in New York:

Price: for 2, the night of 8 January 2027, from $709 on Google Hotels on 4 November 2026.

Before you ask

Which Ritz-Carlton is this?

This is the Ritz-Carlton in NoMad. The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park is a separate property.

How do I arrive and get around?

You can arrive through LaGuardia, JFK or Newark. There is no hotel shuttle, so arrange a transfer separately. The Flatiron and Empire State Building are nearby.

When can I check in and out?

Check-in begins at 4pm and check-out is by 11am. Wi-Fi is complimentary, room service operates 24 hours and the property is smoke-free.

Is there a swimming pool?

No. The hotel has no swimming pool. If swimming at the hotel shapes each day of the trip, this address will not meet that part of it.

When does Zaytinya open, and is breakfast included?

Zaytinya opens at 6.30am on weekdays and 7am on Saturdays and Sundays. Breakfast depends on the chosen rate; check the meal basis and number of guests in the reservation.

What wellness facilities are there?

The spa has separate men’s and women’s lounges and a steam room. The 24-hour gym has Peloton and Technogym equipment.

How do I arrange a treatment?

Choose the treatment and reserve it separately from the room. The spa opens from 10am to 8pm on weekdays and 9am to 7pm at weekends. Leave enough time around the appointment.

Where can I leave the car?

Valet parking costs USD100 for each 24-hour period, without in-and-out privileges. Establish the charge before taking the car out and parking again.

Can I hold a wedding or meeting?

Yes. Wedding and meeting spaces include the Ritz-Carlton Ballroom and Madison Bar. Capacity depends on the actual layout and belongs in a separate event quotation.

Can I plan an evening through the restaurants?

Tour de José takes guests through Zaytinya, Bazaar Bar, Bazaar Meat and Nubeluz, with tastings and drinks. Reserve it separately; a room does not include this dining itinerary.

What comes with New Year’s Eve dinner?

For 31 December, choose the restaurant, menu and drinks with the evening’s reservation. The festive programme includes special dining events; fit the dinner booking around the nights you reserve.

When can I book?

Availability depends on the dates and category in the booking engine. The festive programme includes stays over Christmas and New Year.

What do guests say?

A guest writing on 16 September 2026 describes returning happily, praises the spa and considers the expensive stay worthwhile for an occasion. It is a personal judgement; value also depends on how much time you give the hotel.

How much does a night cost?

1,236 USD (2026-11-15), 1,112 USD (2026-12-27), 674 USD (2027-01-10) for 2 adults, each night searched separately. Room, meal basis, taxes and cancellation depend on the chosen rate. Prices from Google Hotels, 4 November 2026.
