Soneva Fushi
Children of 4 to 17 who want a club, a bicycle and a reef off the beach; parents who want a villa on the sand with a room for the children.
The dearest journey of the 8: the seaplane costs $1,300 return per adult and $650 per child. From 12 January 2027 children pay for half and full board, and there is no communal pool.
Why choose it
The Den covers more than 1,365 m², with an 8-metre pirate ship, 2 pools and a cinema, and its weekly programme is included for ages 4 to 17; childminders are there at all times, and under-4s have one-to-one babysitting. On the meal plans, under-12s eat free on breakfast, half and full board until 11 January 2027; from 12 January a child of 2 to 11 pays $135 a night on half board and $195 on full board, and from 12 the adult rates of $265 and $395 apply. The 1 Bedroom Family Suite, 360 m² with a pool, adds a children’s room to the parents’ bedroom. The villas have pools of their own and the resort has no shared one (Mr & Mrs Smith). On the Google calendar read on 4 October 2026, a night for 2 cost $3,283 on 16 November, $4,150 on 17 January 2027 and $1,824 from 8 May to 30 August 2027. The seaplane takes 30 minutes; the domestic flight to Dharavandhoo, then 10 to 12 minutes by speedboat, costs $600 per adult and $300 per child return (Soneva’s journey page).
