Carved timber at Stübli
At Stübli, I would pause over the carved Swiss pine before opening the menu. For a meal facing the garden, there are the Wintergarten and terrace.1
The Vereina’s yellow tower rises between snow-laden trees.
The Vereina’s 120 m² pool, between columns and garden-facing windows, is where I would make time for a long swim. I would plan meals around the restaurant: the kitchens in Junior Suites and Suites are unsuitable for cooking.
Book direct The hotel websiteFor 2, I would book the treatment room’s massage couch for a quiet pause after a day outside.

Your choices and answer, ready when you come back.
Clothes worn for cycling or cross-country skiing are washed free. For an active stay, I would use that service before filling a suitcase with spare outfits.

At the Vereina, you can pay 100% of the bill in WIR, including room, restaurant and treatments. The hotel quotes its rates in Swiss francs, including VAT.
Lumina Guide 2027
We choose the hotels of this guide ourselves, one at a time: no one pays to be in it.
How we choose the hotelsWhat do Hotel Vereina Klosters’s guests say? They write it in their reviews, even those who only came for a drink or dinner: we read every one and tell the 5 things that matter, from the location to the bill.
9 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. One guest values being near the station and bus stop; another recalls shops and transport in central Klosters.
8 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. One guest describes an apartment-like room and would have liked a balcony. Another finds the mattresses very firm and the duvets heavy.
One guest remembers welcome coffee and having the car parked. Another finds the team especially attentive throughout the stay.
One guest enjoys breakfast overlooking the garden. Another, on the season’s final weekend, finds the buffet limited.
A lunch visitor finds the restaurant prices ordinary for the meal served. Another guest finds the wine list expensive and the by-the-glass red selection limited.
| What | Guests’ score | Guests who mention it | Happy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Location | 8.4 | 20 | 90% |
| Room | 7.8 | 27 | 78% |
| Staff and service | 8.9 | 46 | 91% |
| Breakfast | 7.2 | 8 | 75% |
| Price | – | 6 | 83% |
55 guests said so on Google, from 18 November 2024 to 25 October 2026. The other hotels are assessed on the same 5 themes. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well. Where only a few mention something, the score stays close to the guide’s average: a handful of voices does not make a reputation.
The hotels we weigh it against across Davos and Klosters:
Price: for 2, the night of 22 August 2027, from 360 CHF on Google Hotels on 3 November 2026.

|---|---|
| 6 November to 28 November 2026 | 267–327 |

| 13 January to 26 February 2027 | 349–1,012 |

At Stübli, I would pause over the carved Swiss pine before opening the menu. For a meal facing the garden, there are the Wintergarten and terrace.1

I would choose the Laconium, herbal steam bath and rocky passage with tropical rain. The spa also has a Finnish sauna, salt grotto, foot baths and heated loungers across 1,000 m².1
The pool opens 7am–7pm; the sauna 2pm–7pm, or from 11am on request. Treatments are available 11am–7pm. The gym opens 7am–7pm and is reserved for ages 16 and above.12
For sleep, I would choose the garden side: 2 guests describe road noise, one in August and one in June 2026.12
Dogs cost CHF 25 a night, with a dog bed and water bowl. They are welcome in rooms, the lobby bar and Stübli; they are excluded from the Wintergarten at breakfast, the Smokers Lounge and the spa.12
Extra beds depend on availability and cost CHF 80 per person per night from age 12, or CHF 40 per child per night for ages 7–11. Junior Suites and Suites are the recommended categories for space. In Junior Suites and Suites, the advertised options are a 140 × 200 cm sofa bed or an 80 × 190 cm extra bed.1234
Individual bookings can be cancelled without charge up to 7 days beforehand, or 14 at Christmas and New Year, according to the confirmation. Some rates exclude free cancellation. Early departure may incur the full booked stay; resold nights reduce the bill.1
Direct room bookings from 1 November to 4 December 2026 receive a 10% discount.12

| Address | Landstrasse 179, 7250 Klosters |

From Zurich, allow around 137 km and 1½ hours by car, or under 2 hours by train. Klosters Platz station is a 5-minute walk away. The hotel shuttle serves the Klosters lift base stations and needs to be arranged ahead.12
Winter breakfast runs 7am–10.30am; in summer it starts at 7.30am and ends at the same time. For an early departure on skis, I would sit down at opening.
The Davos Klosters Premium Card covers buses and trains in Klosters and Davos, including the Monbiel bus. Other side-valley connections are charged.
Vereina Relaxation uses warm oil: the summer 2026 spa menu lists CHF 140 for 50 minutes and CHF 175 for 75 minutes. I would choose the duration before planning the rest of the afternoon.
The bar opens at 3pm. I would sit near the lounge fireplace for an aperitif before dinner.
The stocked minibar products, prepared fruit and snacks are provided by the hotel. À la carte room service runs 24 hours a day for an additional charge.
A couple returns to Klosters for the summer concerts and feels comfortable at the hotel. They would prefer quieter background music at breakfast, dinner and in the lounge.
After a 2-night stay, a couple remembers an upgrade and the small sweet left on the bed in the evening. Dinner prices initially seemed high but felt justified by the meal.
One night for 2 adults: 23 November 2026, CHF 276; 14 December 2026, CHF 367; 15 March 2027, CHF 414. Room category, meals and taxes unspecified. Prices from Google Hotels, 3 November 2026.

Yes. It is heated and included for hotel guests together with the rest of the wellness area. Until 30 November 2026, non-resident Day Spa costs CHF 38 per adult per day, including gym, robe and slippers; ages 5–12 cost CHF 20 without robe or slippers. Non-resident hours are 10am–5.30pm.121
Stübli, Wintergarten and the terrace serve lunch 11.30am–2pm and dinner 5.30pm–9.30pm. A smaller menu runs 2pm–5.30pm.1

In winter, Gotschna Parsenn is a few minutes’ walk away and the Madrisa bus stops outside. In summer, you can ride with the hotel’s bike guide or borrow walking poles and a backpack. Direct bookers receive one green fee per night for Klosters’ 9 holes; the golf cart is included.12
