  1. The room to request

I would ask for the King Deluxe: its bathroom has double basins, a soaking tub and a Japanese toilet, and the larger wardrobe helps on a longer stay.

  2. A week in February

Read on 18 October 2026, nights taken alone from 1 to 7 February 2027 ranged from CHF 609 to CHF 667. The highest single night shown was 8 November 2026, at CHF 1,840.

  3. Parking beneath the hotel

Allow CHF 45 for 8 hours or overnight in the garage beneath the hotel, including 8.1% VAT. Charging an electric car costs extra, with charging points subject to availability.

  4. The tram to remember

Stockerstrasse is the stop to remember for these city routes: tram 7 serves Paradeplatz and Bahnhofstrasse, while tram 8 serves the Zurich Opera House and Bellevueplatz.

What Park Hyatt Zurich is

An ordinary room measures 36 m²: enough to unpack, sit at the table and keep work away from the bed without immediately moving up to a suite. Families have an equally clear option: the Family Room joins a King and a Twin, making 72 m² with 2 bathrooms. Broad windows bring the city indoors; a lake view belongs to the categories that specify it.

The catalogue catches a hotel in transition. Classic King, Twin and Junior Suite categories remain, while the Deluxe rooms have new interiors, larger wardrobes and Japanese toilets. The Wellbeing Suite adds a private fitness room; the Lake Zurich Suite brings a fireplace and lake outlook. Booking the new interior means choosing its exact category.

Public spaces are being refined too. Parkhuus closed in June; Florea is announced for November 2026. For now, the Lobby Lounge serves Swiss-inspired dishes and afternoon tea among armchairs and sofas. Recent guests describe generous rooms and practical help from staff, alongside restaurant closures during works: the timing of your stay matters as much as its category.

276 guests said so on Google, from 7 April 2024 to 14 October 2026. Reviews include stays and visits to the spa, restaurants and events. Selected public areas are being refurbished. The other hotels are the ones weighed for a stay in Zurich: for each we read its latest 500 Google reviews with text, or all of them where there are fewer, as of 18 October 2026. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well. Where only a few mention something, the score stays close to the guide’s average: a handful of voices does not make a reputation.

The hotels we weigh it against in Zurich:
