A Thai evening
I would book dinner at White Elephant, daily from 6pm to 10pm; lunch is on weekdays from noon to 2pm.1
At Zurich Marriott Hotel, I would choose the Business Suite: 2 chairs on the balcony facing Zurich’s rooftops. For dinner, my vote goes to curry at White Elephant.
A week here, month by monthI would stay by the Limmat at the Marriott, with Thai dinner at White Elephant and a whisky at Lenox. For a trip spent entirely in the old town’s lanes, I would book a room among them.

5 pairs of hotels, and the guide tells you whether this one suits you.
With children I would consider the North Wing Superior with 2 doubles: 29–32 m² and maximum occupancy of 4; I would then confirm whether the assigned room has already been renovated.
Individual nights on 4–10 January 2027 range from CHF 314 to CHF 320; 15–23 January 2027 rises to CHF 513–546, a difference I would consider before fixing the dates.
For M Club I would check the rate and ages together: admission starts at 12, with an upgrade at CHF 65 per person per day when available; younger children need other arrangements.
Arriving early I would add confirmed access from 10am for CHF 120, offered for Deluxe and Superior rooms; with a car I would also budget CHF 42 a day for parking.
I would begin with the Limmat: book the view by name, then choose between the Main Building and North Wing. A 19 m² Single or Queen is listed for 1 guest; for 2 I would consider Superior rooms, at 25 m² in the Main Building or 29–32 m² in the North Wing.
Room renovation has progressed in phases from 2023 to 2026, with the final rooms scheduled for 2027. Before booking I would confirm the assigned room and any works during the stay. For a terrace and more time indoors, I would ask to see the 70–90 m² Panorama Suite.
I would save an evening for Thai food at White Elephant, then another for Swiss fondue at eCHo, Wednesday to Sunday. Afterwards, Lenox would be my choice for a whisky. M Club shapes the day for guests with access; with children under 12 I would make other plans for breakfast and breaks.
Lumina Guide 2027
At Zurich Marriott Hotel, the Panorama Suite would tempt me with its terrace and Lake Zurich view. For dinner, my vote goes to curry at White Elephant.

151 guests said so on Google, from 2 January 2026 to 18 October 2026. Reviews of stays and visits from January 2026; earlier accounts remain in the original receipts. The other hotels are the ones weighed for a stay in Zurich: for each we read its latest 500 Google reviews with text, or all of them where there are fewer, as of 19 October 2026. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well. Where only a few mention something, the score stays close to the guide’s average: a handful of voices does not make a reputation.
