ROBINSON Noonu, 150 rooms and villas on the club’s all-inclusive plan, on the island of Orivaru in Noonu Atoll, 200 km north of Malé
ROBINSON Noonu suits couples and families who want the Maldives all-inclusive, with a table that is the club’s strongest suit and a house reef 150 metres out. Anyone who wants quiet evenings will be happier elsewhere: the club stages 3 or 4 shows a week and parties on the beach and by the pool.

I would ask for the Beach Villa Pool: 89 m², with a terrace facing the beach and a private pool of 260×330 cm. 2 returning guests who wrote in 2024 and 2025 stayed in a beach bungalow and found it spacious.
On top of the plan
Late check-out is subject to availability and costs 50% of the current club daily rate for the category booked. The green tax is $12 per person per day for guests aged 2 and over, paid on site.
Drinks at the Sundowner Bar
3 guests who wrote between December 2025 and October 2026 name the Sundowner Bar: one calls it the place to be on the island, one a must for a drink with a sea view before dinner, one looks forward to its sunsets.
What ROBINSON Noonu is
ROBINSON, the TUI group’s club brand, has run the whole of Orivaru, in the north of Noonu Atoll and 200 km from Malé, since 2017: 14.6 hectares and 150 units. The double rooms sit in 11 two-storey blocks, from 83 to 112 m², and the Family rooms join 2 doubles; the villas, on the beach or on stilts over the lagoon, run from 89 to 122 m² and every one has a private pool. ROBINSON calls the formula «FOR ALL»: adults first, children welcome, with the ROBY CLUB from the age of 3.
Days follow the club’s rhythm. The all-inclusive plan covers the main restaurant’s 3 buffets and drinks at the bars all day, bar selected wines, sparkling wines and premium spirits; the teppanyaki on stilts and the speciality restaurant cost extra. The house reef is about 150 metres out, masks and fins are free to borrow, and evenings bring 3 or 4 shows a week, beach parties and the Sundowner Bar on the island’s point. Of the latest 500 Google reviews, 96% of those discussing staff and services are positive, and 95% of those discussing the location.
The extras belong in the budget. Diving, excursions, motorised water sports, the minibar and room service sit outside the all-inclusive plan, and the $12 green tax per person per day is paid on the island. In 2022 and 2023 some guests found the reef’s corals largely bleached, and in October 2025 one described them as slowly recovering; almost everyone sees the turtles, rays and small sharks.

Lumina Guide 2027

ROBINSON Noonu is an all-inclusive club on a barefoot island in Noonu Atoll, where the food, the reef 150 metres out and the club’s evenings bring the same families back year after year.
500 reviews read: the room pleases more than 9 guests in 10 who mention it, the staff and service more than 9 in 10.
Ours

Those who come back
Among ROBINSON Noonu’s regulars, a guest writing in November 2023, on a fourth stay, found the house reef full of fish, a change from 5 years earlier, and the food better again than in the years from 2018 to 2020. A family writing in September 2026, on a fifth stay, suggests walking to the dive jetty at 7am to watch the sharks in still, clear water. A guest on a third stay, writing in November 2025, calls the Jungle Party a highlight every time. Another, writing in June 2024, came back after almost exactly 10 months.

Here: in the restaurant they know guests’ names from the first day and use them at every meal; for a birthday the room is decorated without anyone having asked.

The scores come from 500 Google reviews with text, left from 12 October 2020 to 2 October 2026. The other hotels are the ones weighed for a stay in Noonu Atoll: for each we read its latest 500 Google reviews with text, or all of them where there are fewer, as of 6 October 2026. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well. Where only a few mention something, the score stays close to the guide’s average: a handful of voices does not make a reputation.
The main restaurant serves breakfast from 8 to 10, a late breakfast until 11, lunch from 1 to 2.30pm and dinner from 7.30 to 9.30pm: buffets where, guests say, the cooks plate dishes to order, with Ayurvedic, vegetarian and vegan dishes. The teppanyaki restaurant, on stilts over the lagoon, and the speciality restaurant, Nooma on Booking.com, open on selected evenings and cost extra.
A textile-free Finnish sauna, a second sauna area where swimwear is worn and a sauna garden, with massage and beauty rooms that open onto an outdoor area, for one or two: this is the WellFit Spa, open from the age of 16. Treatments, from BalAyur Ayurvedic massages to natural cosmetics, are charged, and the site publishes neither prices nor hours.
The reef lies about 150 metres off the island, well suited to beginners and very well suited to experienced divers, says the dive centre; masks, fins and snorkels are free to borrow. Guests in 2026 describe blacktip sharks, rays and turtles, and one couple watched dolphins from the jetty in July; the PADI centre’s dives and guided snorkelling are charged.
Good to know before you book
The transfer from Malé is compulsory: a domestic flight of about 35 minutes to Maafaru and 30 minutes by speedboat, or a 45-minute seaplane at $300 per leg per person aged 2 and over. The site says it is included in TUI packages; on 3 October 2026 Booking.com charged $750 per adult return on top. Land in Malé after 1.30pm, or 3pm for the seaplane, and the first night is in town.
The «made by ROBINSON» all-inclusive plan covers the buffets, house wine, beer and soft drinks with meals and every drink at the bars, bar selected wines, sparkling wines, spirits and specialities. Teppanyaki, the speciality restaurant, room service, the minibar, diving, motorised water sports and excursions are extra, as is the $12 green tax per person per day.
This is a «FOR ALL» club: adults first, children welcome. The ROBY CLUB takes children from 3 to 6, 6 days a week; the programmes for 7 to 12 and for teenagers of 13 to 17 run only in the main school holidays. The club advises against the water villas for children under 9, and the gym, the spa and the beach sports start at 16.
Every villa has a private pool, from 245×300 to 200×420 cm and 120 cm deep; the double rooms do not, and share the infinity pool, the island’s only communal one. The Economy categories have the same sizes, in what the site calls a «non-optimal location».
Evenings are a club’s: 3 or 4 shows a week, a live act, the ROBcarpet gala night and parties on the beach and by the pool. Several times a year the «This is Noonu» Special Week brings DJs and parties in the jungle and on a nearby island; German and English are spoken, and club time runs an hour ahead of Malé.

Robinson Noonu reviews
The platforms’ scores, read on 3 October 2026, and what guests say about the food, the reef and the evenings.
On 3 October 2026 Google showed 4.9/5 from 740 ratings. The figures by theme come from the latest 500 reviews with text, from October 2020 to October 2026, more than half of them in German; 552 of the 587 reviews with text give 5 stars. These are accounts of stays we have not verified.
6 stays described on Google between September 2025 and October 2026.
Google
A fifth stay, with 2 boys
In September 2026 a family of 4, on their fifth visit, suggest leaving shoes at home: the whole island is walked barefoot. Their 2 tips are the dive jetty at 7am, to watch the sharks in still water, and Wednesday’s pool party. The shallow lagoon, they write, is safe for children.
In September 2026 a guest on a first trip to the Maldives arrived during the «This is Noonu» Special Week: DJs at sunset, the Sweet Party and a party on a secret island reached by speedboat. What stayed with them most was the food, and the teppanyaki.
In July 2026 a honeymoon couple, on a package of flights, transfers and all-inclusive bought through an Australian agency, had the floating breakfast in their villa’s pool and swam with sharks, a ray and a turtle off the villa. They found the dive centre very expensive and stuck to the kayaks.
In July 2026 a couple in a water bungalow compared the food to a starred restaurant’s, saw sharks, rays and turtles on the reef and dolphins from the jetty. Their one complaint: water sports and excursions felt far too expensive.
In September 2025 a couple who had chosen ROBINSON for its vegan offer gave 2 stars: at the buffet, especially in the evening, some days had nothing vegan, and the labels were often wrong. The island, the service and the atmosphere they found stunning.
In May 2026 a guest gave one star: mistakes over the booking and its length, the room locked 2 days before departure, and a demand for $1,000 for a transfer already paid. The management, they write, never answered their complaint.
What people ask before booking ROBINSON Noonu, with answers from sources read between 3 and 6 October 2026.
What kind of resort is ROBINSON Noonu?
An all-inclusive club of the ROBINSON brand, part of the TUI group, rated 5 stars by the local classification, on the island of Orivaru in Noonu Atoll. The official page counts 150 units on 14.6 hectares: double rooms in 11 two-storey blocks and individual villas, on the beach and over the water. It has been a ROBINSON since 2017, and in 2019 it won the World Luxury Hotel Award for the Indian Ocean Islands region in the Luxury Beach Villa category.
The formula is «FOR ALL»: adults first, children welcome. The club profile rates it excellent for couples and suitable for families with children up to 12; in the German page’s questions the club describes itself as Maldivian seclusion with a structured programme of sport and classes. The brand runs a second Maldives club, ROBINSON Maldives, in Gaafu Alif Atoll.
Which rooms and villas can you book, and how big are they?
The official categories number 10, across 7 kinds of unit. Double rooms: Classic Sea View, 83 m² on the first floor with a balcony; Superior Sea View Beach Access, 112 m² on the ground floor with a terrace onto the beach; Economy, 83–112 m² in a non-optimal location; Family, 224 m², 2 connecting doubles. Beach villas: Villa Economy and Beach Villa Private Pool, 89 m² with a pool facing the garden; Beach Villa Pool, 89 m² with a pool facing the sand. Over the water: Water Villa and Water Villa Sunset View, 93 m², and the One Bed Room Water Villa Pool, the 122 m² presidential suite.
All have parquet floors, air conditioning and a ceiling fan, a coffee and tea machine, a charged minibar, satellite TV, indoor and outdoor showers and a bath, and daily cleaning; the last full renovation was in 2017, and every villa has a 120 cm-deep private pool. The total is 150 units; the room cards show 1 or 2 units per category even where «at least 10 rooms» are still free, so the number of each type is uncertain.
Where is it, and is the island quiet?
On the island of Orivaru, in the north of Noonu Atoll and about 200 km from Malé, says the official page; the Google listing reads «Orivaru Noonu Atoll Orivaru, 20293». It is the only resort on its island, and according to the club’s own questions there are no villages or anything else within walking distance.
How quiet depends on the evening. The site describes a quiet beachfront setting, but the club stages 3 or 4 shows a week, beach and pool parties and, several times a year, a Special Week with DJs; the main bar closes at 1.30am. Guests describe an island you can walk round barefoot in about 20 minutes, with jungle at its centre.
How do you get there from Malé, and what does the transfer cost?
By a Maldivian domestic flight of about 35 minutes to Maafaru in Noonu Atoll and a 30-minute speedboat to the club, says the official page; there may be stopovers. The alternative is a seaplane of about 45 minutes, at $300 per leg per person aged 2 and over, which flies only in daylight. The transfer surcharge is compulsory, and the site says it is included in TUI and airtours packages; on 3 October 2026 Booking.com charged $750 per adult return on top, $730 for children of 6 to 14 and $700 for children of 2 to 5.
To arrive the same day you must land in Malé by 1.30pm, or 3pm for the seaplane; later than that you need a transit hotel. Expedia gives a flight to Ifuru in Raa Atoll and 45 minutes by speedboat instead. In May 2021 one guest describes a seaplane diverted by bad weather and the last leg by boat in a heavy sea.
Can you arrive by car or park?
No: Orivaru is an island reached only by air and by boat, with no roads, and walked barefoot. The Google Hotels card lists parking as unavailable, and no page of the club mentions any: from the airport you come by plane and speedboat or by seaplane.
What is the beach like, and how do you get into the sea?
A sandy beach runs round the island, and the site describes a sea with wind of force 1 to 3 on the Beaufort scale and waves from none to medium, suitable for beginners. The ground-floor Superior rooms and the Beach Villa Pool open onto the sand, and the water villas, guests write, have direct access to the sea.
Guests describe a shallow, calm lagoon, safe for children, with small sharks a few metres from the shore. For the outer reef a 2023 guest recommends the ladders at the end of the dive centre’s jetty. Booking.com says the nearest beach is 450 feet away; the club stands on the beach.
Is there a house reef you can swim to?
Yes: the house reef is about 150 metres off the island, well suited to beginners and very well suited to experienced divers, says the dive centre. Masks, fins and snorkels are free to borrow; guided snorkelling, dives, packages and the PADI centre’s courses are charged, and courses start at 8.
In 2026 guests describe blacktip and nurse sharks, rays and turtles, and dolphins seen from the jetty. In 2022 and 2023 some found the corals largely bleached; in October 2025 a guest described them as slowly recovering.
What pools are there?
One shared infinity pool, the island’s only one, with a timber deck and loungers, says the official page; towels, loungers, daybeds and parasols are included. Every villa has its own private pool, 120 cm deep: 245×300 cm in the garden-facing villas, 260×330 in the Beach Villa Pool, 200×410 in the Water Villas and 200×420 in the suite.
The double rooms have no pool. The shared pool hosts water polo, Aqua Fit and, on Wednesdays according to a 2026 guest, the pool party; Google Hotels notes that there is no hot tub.
Is the pool heated, and when is it open?
The site gives neither the temperature nor the hours of the infinity pool, and says nothing about heating. The sustainability section says only that the pools are run and cleaned so as to waste less water. The club is open all year.
Where do you eat, and until when?
According to the dining section: the main restaurant, with breakfast from 8 to 10, a late breakfast until 11, lunch from 1 to 2.30pm and dinner from 7.30 to 9.30pm; the speciality restaurant and the teppanyaki, on stilts, on selected evenings only and at a charge. The main bar runs from 11am to 1.30am, the Sundowner Bar from 11am to 7.30pm. Hours, the site warns, may change.
The kitchen covers vegetarian and vegan dishes, wholefoods, lactose-free food and allergy menus by arrangement, with Ayurvedic BalAyur dishes every day. Room service runs round the clock at a charge, and the site asks for an elegant outfit at dinner. Booking.com calls the speciality restaurant Nooma.
What does the all-inclusive cover, and what costs extra?
The «made by ROBINSON» all-inclusive, according to the official page, covers the buffets at breakfast, lunch and dinner, the late breakfast and, with meals, speciality coffee, tea, water and juices in the morning and house wine, beer, water and soft drinks at lunch and dinner. At the bars every drink is included all day, bar selected wines, sparkling wines, spirits and specialities, and water stations round the island refill bottles for free.
Extra: the speciality restaurant and the teppanyaki, room service, the minibar, the Wine & Dine evening with a bottle, diving, guided snorkelling, motorised water sports, excursions, laundry, spa treatments and the photographer. In 2023 a guest paid $4 for a can of soft drink from the minibar; the site publishes no other meal plan.
What is the spa like?
The WellFit Spa, open from 16, has a textile-free Finnish sauna, a second sauna area where swimwear is worn and a sauna garden, with massage and beauty rooms opening onto an outdoor area, for singles and couples, says the official page. The site gives no size and mentions no steam room or hydrotherapy pool; in its wedding package it calls the spa Duniye Spa.
Beside it are the gym, from 16, with cardio and weights and a Power Plate station, and an open-air WellFit area. Booking.com lists changing rooms and a relaxation area; Expedia describes treatments over the lagoon with glass floor panels, which the official page does not mention.
Is the spa included, is there a fee, and can outside guests use it?
Treatments are charged: the official page lists standard and natural cosmetics and standard and wellness massages as paid services run by an external company, and the BalAyur Ayurvedic massages are booked singly or as a package, priced on the island. The site does not say whether the saunas are included, and the spa is for guests of 16 and over.
No page offers a day pass or spa access for anyone not staying on Orivaru, a private island reached only by the club’s transfer. The Honeymoon Deluxe package and the Maldivian Magical Wedding both include a couples’ massage.
What are the spa’s opening hours?
The official page publishes no hours for the WellFit Spa or the saunas. Once a week there is a WellFit Day with special classes, and yoga, Pilates and stretching start at 14; the couples’ packages that include a massage are booked on the island 12 hours ahead.
Which treatments does it offer, and at what prices?
From the site: standard and natural cosmetic treatments, standard and wellness massages, and the BalAyur Ayurvedic massages, Abhyanga for the whole body, Pristabhyanga for the back and Padabhyanga for the feet; the Maldivian Magical Wedding includes a 75-minute couples’ massage, and the Honeymoon Deluxe the Him & Her massage.
The site publishes no prices, which are given on the island, in dollars. Guests from 2018 to 2025 often name the massages among the best moments of their stay.
Is it good for children? Is there a kids’ club?
Yes. The ROBY CLUB takes children from 3 to 6, 6 days a week, with hourly programmes in German and English; R.O.B.Y., for 7 to 12, from 10am to 9pm, and ROBS, for 13 to 17, run in the main school holidays. There are baby kits to reserve, babysitting at a charge and subject to availability, a playroom and a playground with a play ship.
The club advises against the water villas for children under 9, and diving courses start at 8. The official profile rates it suitable for families with children up to 12 and excellent for couples; unaccompanied minors are not accepted, and Booking.com sets 18 as the minimum check-in age. Returning families write of children who could not wait for the club each day.
What else is on the island?
According to the club plan: a 24-hour reception, the main, speciality and teppanyaki restaurants, the main bar and the Sundowner Bar, the pool, the ROBIN Store, the gym, the Body & Mind room, the sauna and the WellFit Spa, the dive centre, the water sports station, a football pitch, a padel court, the doctor and the ROBY CLUB.
Included sport runs from beach volleyball and badminton to football, water polo, table tennis and billiards; windsurfing, SUP and kitesurfing charge for kit and lessons, and jet skis, water skiing, wakeboarding, fishing, boat trips and dolphin trips are booked with outside companies. Wi-Fi is included in many public areas and in the rooms. Google Hotels lists golf and tennis: the island has a padel court and a football pitch, and no golf course or tennis court.
What offers and packages are there?
On 6 October 2026 the club’s English page quoted, for 7 nights from 18 to 25 September 2027, 2 adults, room only with the all-inclusive plan, a total price per night of £325 for the Double Room Economy, £343 for the Classic Sea View, £544 for a Water Villa or a Beach Villa Private Pool, £594 for the Beach Villa Pool and £954 for the suite. The German page promised up to €300 off for logged-in customers on trips from 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027, for TUI Deutschland packages only.
On the island you book the couples’ packages: Heart to Heart, with sparkling wine, 2 champagne cocktails and a 5-course dinner; Honeymoon and Honeymoon Deluxe, with Moët Ice and a private dinner or barbecue; Anniversary; and the Vinter Pavilion, a private table on the beach with 5 courses. Prices are on request. Guests with flexible dates can book as a RoomHopper, at the cheapest category’s price, changing rooms up to 4 times.
Can you get married at ROBINSON Noonu?
Yes, with a ceremony on the beach led by the club’s general manager or deputy, says the official page. Seventh Heaven includes the ceremony, palm decorations, a bottle of Moët Ice and canapés; the Maldivian Magical Wedding adds a 5-course dinner in the speciality restaurant or a private barbecue, bridal make-up and hair, and a 75-minute couples’ massage.
Prices are on request, bookings are made on the island 12 hours ahead, and the site says neither whether the ceremony is legally binding nor how many guests may attend. In 2023 one couple renewed their vows here and describe a beautifully dressed beach.
Is there a New Year’s Eve dinner?
The official page publishes no programme or supplement for 31 December. It does publish the club’s fixed evenings: the weekly ROBcarpet gala, with food, a show and cocktails, the fortnightly LUHANA Hawaiian day with themed buffet dinners, and the beach parties.
A guest back in January 2023 calls the gala nights and the New Year’s Eve party the best of the stay, and in January 2025 another thanks the team for a Christmas holiday. On Google Hotels, read on 6 October 2026, the nights from 14 November to 31 January had no price yet.
Can you play golf?
No. Google Hotels lists golf among the amenities, but the club plan has no golf course, and the page offers no golf packages or green fees. Padel is played instead, on an artificial-turf court: taster sessions with the rules are free, while the court and racket hire are charged.
When is it open, and what are the arrival days?
All year: the official page and Tripadvisor both say it is open in every season. Guests arrive daily, and the main arrival days are Thursday and Sunday. On Google Hotels, read on 6 October 2026, 35 of the 117 nights from 7 October 2026 to 31 January 2027 had a price, from 10 October to 13 November; the rest showed no rate, which does not mean the club was closed.
Several times a year the «This is Noonu» Special Week brings DJs, musicians and parties: guests in 2026 describe it in September. The site does not publish the next dates.
How much is a night?
Google Hotels, read on 6 October 2026, for 2 adults and one night, taxes and fees included: $2,021 on 10 October 2026, $2,076 on 12 October, $1,001 on 18 October, $998 on 21 October, $1,854 on 24 October, $1,429 on 27 October, $1,419 on 31 October, $1,354 on 1 November, $1,381 on 4 November and $1,352 on 13 November 2026.
The calendar shows the day’s lowest figure and names neither the seller nor the room; from 7 to 9 October and from 14 November 2026 to 31 January 2027 it showed no price at all, and the club is open all year. On top come the compulsory transfer from Malé, when it is not in a package, and the $12 green tax per person per day, paid on the island.
What do the reviews say?
On 3 October 2026 Google showed 4.9/5 from 740 ratings, Tripadvisor 4.9/5 from 1,344 with a 2026 Travellers’ Choice award, Booking.com 8.2/10 from 9, with value for money at 7.0, and Expedia 9.8/10 from 126.
Across the latest 500 Google reviews, 96% of those discussing staff and services are positive, 96% of those discussing the rooms and 95% of those discussing the location. Waiters who know guests’ names from day one, the kitchen, the dive centre and the villas with their private pools all recur. Diving and excursions are charged separately; reviews mention their prices and the compulsory transfer from Malé, by domestic flight and speedboat or by seaplane.
