For families happy to make the resort their destination, the lowest seller on Google showed nights from AED 1,225 for 2 adults. For a small, quiet hideaway, I would choose another address.

  1. The room to ask for

For 2 adults and 2 children I would ask for a Queen Room: 45–47 m² with 2 queen beds, facing the Palm or Arabian Sea; for more space, the Family Room connects a King and a Queen.

  2. The cheaper summer week

Read on 13 October 2026, Google’s lowest sellers showed 28 August–3 September 2027 at AED 1,225–1,245 a night; the dearest night shown, 26 December 2026, was AED 4,981.

  3. Beyond the room price

Room rates carry a 10% service charge, a 7% Dubai municipality fee and 5% VAT; the Tourism Dirham adds AED 20 per bedroom per night, collected at check-out.

  4. Before the room is ready

Arriving before the 3pm room check-in need not mean waiting in reception: after registering, ask the front desk to store your bags and issue the temporary card for resort facilities, available from 10am.

How we choose the hotels

Those who come back

Among the hotel’s regulars, a guest writing in May 2026 names the waterpark as the main reason for returning. Another May 2026 writer describes staying in a Terrace Suite and praises the breakfast buffet and in-room dining.

  • 12 of the 737 reviews with text explicitly describe a repeat stay
  • From a second stay to 5 stays
  • A guest writes of staying every summer for 8 years

Return-stay candidates checked among 737 reviews with text, written January–October 2026; only explicit hotel stays are counted.

The 5 things that matter, as guests tell them

What do Atlantis The Palm’s guests say? They write it in their reviews, even those who only came for a drink or dinner: we read every one and tell the 5 things that matter, from the location to the bill.

  1. Location

8 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. The resort stands at the tip of Palm Jumeirah’s crescent: guests describe the views of the sea and the Dubai skyline, the private beach and Aquaventure next door.

  2. Room

8 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. Guests write of spacious, clean, comfortable rooms looking over the sea or the Palm, and thank by name the housekeepers who look after them each day.

  3. Staff and service

The scores come from 500 Google reviews with text, left from 22 June 2026 to 4 October 2026. The other hotels are the ones weighed for a stay in Dubai: for each we read its latest 500 Google reviews with text, or all of them where there are fewer, as of 4 October 2026. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well. Where only a few mention something, the score stays close to the guide’s average: a handful of voices does not make a reputation.

The hotels we weigh it against in Dubai:

  • One&Only The Palm
  • Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah
