I would ask for an Ocean Pool Suite with Slide, with a private pool, a waterslide into the lagoon and overwater hammocks; 3 guests who wrote between June 2025 and June 2026 stayed in a villa with a slide.
In the calendar read on 12 October 2026 the cheapest week is 15–21 December 2026, at $2,008 to $2,015 a night. The dearest is 29 December 2026 to 4 January 2027, at $3,908 every night.
Diving is extra: a PADI Discover Scuba Diving dive is $235 with equipment, boat fees excluded, and a one-tank boat trip $20 per person, all subject to 10% service charge and government taxes.
Afternoon tea is served from 4pm to 6pm at OZAR, the 360-degree bar curving between the pool and the lagoon, where you can pick a cabana or casual seating and unwind with bar nibbles.
OZEN RESERVE Bolifushi is the flagship of THE OZEN COLLECTION, a small Maldivian group whose other resort is OZEN LIFE MAADHOO, and it holds a MICHELIN Key, kept in September 2026 according to the resort's press page. The island, where one of the atoll's first resorts opened in 1982, now has 90 villas: 44 on the beach and 46 over the water, 23 of them with a slide into the lagoon; 15 are 2- or 3-bedroom RESERVE villas with a butler and in-villa service.
The reason to choose it is the RESERVE plan, which comes with every offer on the website: the return catamaran, a private lounge at the airport, breakfast, lunch and dinner at Vista del Mar, dine-around dinners at SAFFRON and SANGU BEACH and, depending on the length of stay, Soyi and ORIGINƎ, champagne, wine and whiskies aged 12 to 18 years, a minibar restocked daily and, from the fourth night, spa treatments. The Kuda Koli Kids Club opens from 9am to 6pm, and the house reef, the website says, surrounds almost the whole island.
On Google Hotels, read on 6 October 2026, no night for 2 between October and January cost less than $1,785, and almost every night from 24 December to 4 January cost $3,908. Bolifushi sits close to Malé, and guests in 2022 and 2025 wrote of the city’s lights, an island being reclaimed with excavators and, in December 2025, another resort going up opposite.

OZEN LIFE MAADHOO, the group’s other resort, has 95 all-inclusive villas and an underwater restaurant, for those who do not need a pool in every villa.

Dinner at ORIGINƎ, the overwater spa and the children's club.
Modern European cooking with the sommelier's pairings, 40 covers, dinner from 7pm to 10.30pm by reservation. The RESERVE plan includes one dinner from the fourth night and 2 from the tenth; below it lies CUVÉE, the cellar of 2,000 bottles, where dinners are charged.
The spa has treatment rooms over the water and in the garden, opens daily from 9am to 9pm and uses VOYA seaweed and Philosophia Botanica products. The Five Element Aroma massage is $170 for 60 minutes, plus 10% service and GST, 17% since 1 July 2025 (MIRA, read on 15 October 2026); on the RESERVE plan, from the fourth night, every guest aged 16 or over has at least one 60-minute treatment.
The resort calls it one of the largest in the Maldives: indoor and outdoor spaces, a family pool, pizza making, face painting and treasure hunts round the island, from 9am to 6pm. Under-threes stay with a parent; a babysitter is $25 an hour plus taxes.
The RESERVE plan covers a lot but not everything. Diving, motorised water sports, excursions, dinners at CUVÉE and teppanyaki in the Royal RESERVE's dhoni-shaped restaurant are extra; ORIGINƎ and Soyi come by turns, according to the nights booked, and the website asks for 4 nights, reviewing shorter stays case by case.
Bolifushi is close to Malé. Some villas look out on building work on a nearby island: guests wrote of it in February, June and December 2025.
Villa sizes can be read 2 ways: the resort's fact sheet gives an Earth Pool Villa 88 m² of villa on a 418 m² plot, the villa pages print «Total Area 418 m²», and the MICHELIN Guide lists 210 m².
The house reef is a few metres away; the resort’s green book asks guests never to swim alone or between the ropes and jetties.

GoogleIn June 2026 a family with children of 2 and 8 valued the 30-minute speedboat over a seaplane, a late check-out that went straight to the boat and their last days in a villa with a slide. The easiest snorkelling was near the spa; the youngest, though, would not stay at the kids' club.

An all-inclusive resort on its own island in South Malé Atoll, the flagship of THE OZEN COLLECTION, whose other Maldives resort is OZEN LIFE MAADHOO. The fact sheet counts 90 villas in 8 categories, all with a pool; Google Hotels lists it as 5-star, the MICHELIN Guide gives it a Key, kept in September 2026 according to the press page, and the sustainability page reports Green Globe certification.
The island, the resort's green book recalls, opened as the Bolifushi Resort in 1982, with 30 rooms and a following among divers; the website does not say when today's resort opened, and the oldest Google review collected dates from 8 December 2020. The home page calls it designed for 2, yet it sells Kids Stay Free and one of the largest children's clubs in the Maldives.

The website publishes no timetable: guests wait in the private airport lounge, and between 2023 and 2025 they describe anything from a few minutes to about 30 before boarding. Private yachts are chartered separately.
No: it is an island reached only by boat, with no roads or car park. Guests get about on foot, by bicycle, one per villa with a name plate, or by buggy, running 24 hours a day according to the resort brochure.
From the beach villas you step on to the sand; from the water villas you enter the lagoon from the deck or down the slide, as the villa pages say. The resort's green book calls the lagoon safe for swimming, asks guests not to swim alone, to stay within the markers and never between the ropes and jetties; the dive centre lends life jackets.

Guests in 2026 describe 2 reefs, one on each side of the island, turtles, sharks and a manta in shallow water. A guided reef snorkel is $60 an hour, the coral restoration tour $55 and the nurse-shark trip by dhoni $125, according to the dive centre price list.
Every villa has its own: a 59 m² L-shaped pool at the Earth Pool Villas and the Pavilion, a 27 m² infinity pool at the Ocean Pool Suites, 40 m² at the Earth Pool RESERVE villas and 65 m² at the Royal RESERVE, as the villa pages say. The website does not say whether the pools are heated or at what temperature, and publishes no hours for the main pool; OZAR, beside it, opens from 10am to midnight according to the RESERVE plan page. The villa pools are private and always available; in 2025 a Russian guest wrote that they were cleaned daily and did not smell of chlorine.

The resort sells one plan, the all-inclusive RESERVE: every meal at Vista del Mar, dine-around dinners at SANGU BEACH and SAFFRON, Soyi once every 4 nights and ORIGINƎ once from the fourth night and twice from the tenth, champagne, wine, spirits and whiskies aged 12 to 18 years, cocktails, a minibar restocked daily, the butler, the gym, snorkelling gear and non-motorised water sports, as the website offers list them.
From the fourth night, spa treatments are added: one 60-minute treatment per person up to 5 nights, 2 up to 9, 3 up to 13 and 4 beyond, according to the plan brochure, which is valid from arrival to 11am on departure day. RESERVE villas add breakfast at ORIGINƎ, in-villa dining and a barbecue on the beach.
ELE|NA Elements of Nature has treatment rooms over the water and in the garden, marked on the island map, a yoga pavilion used for sound baths and the overwater OZENERGY gym. The spa page offers Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, the in-water Ocean Flow treatment, the VOYA seaweed bath and Philosophia Botanica facials, with a resident Ayurvedic doctor for its programmes.
No resort source gives the spa's size or number of rooms, or mentions a sauna or steam room, and Google Hotels lists neither. A whirlpool and a private spa come only with the Royal RESERVE, whose jacuzzi seats 6.
On the RESERVE plan, from the fourth night, each guest has 1 to 4 treatments of 60 minutes depending on the length of stay; others are charged, plus 10% service and GST, according to the spa menu; GST is 17% since 1 July 2025 (MIRA, read on 15 October 2026). No page publishes a day pass for anyone not staying on the island, which is reached by the resort's own boats: the menu speaks only to resident guests, and treatments are booked through the butler.

Honeymooners get champagne, fruit, a decorated bed and a petal bath, with a marriage certificate from the last 12 months and a stay of 4 nights, according to the experiences page.
The resort offers a renewal of vows: in the glass-walled overwater wedding pavilion or on the beach to bodu beru drums. According to the private dining brochure it costs $1,855 per ceremony plus tax and service, with a palm arch, bouquet, celebrant, a 3-tier cake for the couple and 6 guests, dinner on the beach and a floating breakfast the next morning.

Of the 161 Google reviews with text, 92% of those discussing staff are positive, 85% on the villas, 83% on location and on breakfast, 70% on price.
Butlers, the slide villas, the reef and the range of restaurants recur. Malé is close, and the building work on a nearby island recurs in the reviews of 2025.
Google Hotels prices for the Maldives include taxes and fees: for 7 October the official site's link showed $1,839.94, of which $428.94 was tax and $24 other charges. Spa, diving, excursions and private dining carry 10% service and government tax, as the spa menu and the dive centre price list say; GST is 17% since 1 July 2025 (MIRA, read on 15 October 2026).
On Tripadvisor partners' prices, from $1,411 for 11 October, are «taxes not included», and the MICHELIN Guide showed $1,828 with taxes for 31 October: other channels' figures, read on 3 October 2026.
Check-in is from 3pm and check-out by noon, according to Booking.com and the Google Hotels listing; the website does not publish the times.
